Today he brought me my SOFIRN SP33S with diffuser and battery. I was already in the evening for a walk, after about 30 minutes in total darkness (outside the village, no lamps, forest, etc.) I can admit that it shines quite well, the color of the light is not bad, the power is also not bad, in the turbo mode it is impressive, and even lasts quite a long time. I like the illuminated button, I missed that in the flashlights I have. Overall, a pretty good purchase, the turbo flashlight does not get too warm, it reduces the power of the light sooner than it raises the temperature. It is enough for everything, I am satisfied. sofirn s11c It would be enough for me at home if there is no electricity (because of these winds it happens quite often), or for small walks, but with SOFIRN SP33S to the forest I feel more confident and safer. : P

Just a white "condo" for a flashlight. Diffuses light. Cool thing.

They’re closely matched for sure. Great demonstration. Like the set up, the lanterns and stuff - interesting backdrop versus some grid mat. Sofirns are great, I also have Thrunites, Sofirn wins out most times. I say put the awesome green backlit switch ala IF25A on everything. That one feature makes a better flashlight. IMO.

    Bonjour,

Close match, but Sofirn Sp33s is cheaper, slightly brighter, and I can see it in this video. Now the main thing that Thrunite fails in,no smooth ramping! And if they had more level steps,it wouldn't be such a big deal. But the Thrunite TC20 V2,and the Wowtac A5,both have too big of a gap between their stepped ramps. Now for the price of the Thrunite TC20V2,you can get the Sofirn/Astroloux EC03 cheaper. And it won't even be a contest. The EC03's 6700 lumens is the brightest, cheapest, floodiest wall of light flashlight with a beautiful beam that you can get for your money,in my opinion. And the others who have reviewed and tested it have reported better than claimed numbers, which is rare.

I have the Thrunite tc20 and I agree the steps vary too much, I'm going to buy the sp33s but now that you mention the ec03 I have to ask which one you think is better the ec03 or the sp33s?
I plan to purchase one of those and the TS22 to replace the if25a that I unfortunately lost a few weeks ago, as I read that the TS22 might be a little bit better than the if25a

EC03 will have more lumens and sp33s will be more pocket friendly, if I had to pick between the two I would go with the sp33s.

@@1Andres I live in Florida and went through hurricane Ian a few months ago. We suffered flood damage,a tree which fell and destroyed three of our cars parked in our driveway, and were without power for four nights. My flashlights were put to use and I was able to evaluate them. Inside the house to light up the rooms, my two Sofirn Sp33s worked well. My two Sofirn IF25a's also did a great job. But here's the thing that gives the SP33s the edge. It's the 26650 battery. It last longer, especially when the flashlight is on a lower output. So it's not the lumens or the angle coverage that makes a difference. But outside it's a different story. The SP33s outside is a little disappointing. It just doesn't seem 5000 lumens bright. The flood dispersion is great. But even the Astrolux EC01 appears brighter than the SP33s. And the EC03? No comparison. If I wanted to light up my backyard,or look down the street, the SP33s is significantly dimmer. And I don't need the turbo output to be on for any length of time. I just needed to see what's going on in a wide area to assess the situation I'm facing. So outside, the EC03 is the best. And it's about the same price,or just a little more, than the SP33s. For longer distances,my Astrolux EA01 xhp50 beats all my flashlights. It gets hot quick in turbo, but I can light up things farther away than I can actually see well with just my eyes. It also performed well indoors because when it's aimed at the ceiling, the narrower beam didn't prove to be a significant detriment to light up a room. And it also can take a 26650 battery for longer runtimes. And I got in on Banggood for $42.which was cheaper than the SP33s. Now outside, though the beam on the EA01 is much narrower, it still seems way brighter than the SP33s. In fact,my Sofirn C8f,triple LH351d,which I got on sale on their website for under $30.shipped, is almost as bright as the SP33S outside. The SP33s just doesn't appear significantly brighter outside. For the money, if you can get it on sale like I did, the Sofirn C8F Lh351d wins. If you want more power, and for outside use mainly, the EC03 is the winner. The beam spread, and the distance, can't be beat for $60. or less.

@@deydrm I cant find the EC03 available for sale, thanks for the response I think the SP33s is a good light to have around and I was just looking for alternativez to replace my lost IF25A which was an excellent light.
I think I will go with the TS22 and see how much I like carrying it

@@smotheredchrome yeah me too. We seem to never get a straight answer from Sofirn on what cells they use. I know it was going around that they had recently switched to BAK which are junk. It could be true because I’ve heard battery issues is the reason Amazon have pulled some Sofirn models like the Q8 pro, Sp36 pro 6500k and If22a/If22

Nice, I'm still torn between this Sofirn sp33s and Mateminco mt70mini sfn55.2
I love sofirn for its UI, but these new sfn55.2 led are quiet interesting, so i'm still on a fence. edc-wise sp33s wins. I even thinking to get the sp33v3.
Man, so the snow is cleared, are you going to make another beamshot in the park where you shot the if22a vids.
O, and thank you for the comparisons
