funny how many of us have the same thought processes. I didn't spend the money on one of these for a while either, until I decided I didn't want spend time wiping down 9mm brass. I ended up with the same unit and threw the flaps in the garbage after a while, the little clips started breaking and it was more of a hassle having them on the bucket.
FYI... if you leave the spent primers in the used cases, then tumble your cases, media will not get lodged into the flash hole, saving you considerable time picking the odd ones that do get clogged. Now you can lightly lubricate or NOT as you wish, because the cases are now clean and ready to be sized and decapped in the carbide die.
Try some dryer sheets in the separator when tumbling to reduce dust.

I have the same one, did you get a bucket lid, I got one in box but unsure how lid works
