Was about to order one of these annexes but looks like a day job installing and packing up lol. Plus my awning is Thuel Sweden Omnimiser which does not seem to have the same connections as this one in the video. Still thinking about it.
Well I did order one of these and now I wish I had trusted my instincts. First I buy the Thule Omnistor 5200 awning, and then I buy the Thule EasyLink Annex thinking its best to pay more for the better annex right? Hmmmm... very wrong idea. Big mistake. Thule have decided in their wisdom to sell only half the kit and the other parts like centre rafter (which should never be an optional extra with a 3900 awning), end support rods like in the video, internal support rods like in the video, and tie down stuff like in the video also, so you need about $500 in extras to do the job properly. Apparently there are two versions of this easy link annex... one with the full kit like in the video... and one with a piece of canvas and a few tid bits. I paid $1300 for the latter. Shame on Thule for this trickery to buy their after market stuff. They will say when questioned on it.... "Oh you dont need all the extras as they are optional. Yeah right, its true you can erect it without the optional extras, but the first breath of wind (light breeze really) will mangle the whole freaking lot and as it all collapse, destroy the awning as well as it did with mine. Looks like I could be up for another grand for a new awning now. I promise ya, it wont be a Thule. Its nothing less than trickery to buy all the optional extras at hugely inflated prices. Shame on them.
alguien me puede decir si este cerramiento vale para un toldo de 3m. si es universal para todas las medidas de toldo o hay diferentes medidas de cerramiento. gracias.
