I loved the way he did the backing vocals on Heart Shaped Box at Live and Loud Seattle 1993. Sucks I didn't have a chance to support one of my all-time favorite bands and get to see them perform their art live.
I watched Studio 666 with 2 of my friends (neither one of whom listens to FF), and their takeaways are:
1. Pat (whom they called 'cute grandpa') is really cute and wholesome and I think he's pretty much their favourite person ever
2. Rami is fucking hilarious

I think the one guy who is helping Dave and the band is him, he's been trough a lot since Germs days, lots drug abuse and therefor lots of loss of loved ones, then Nirvana with Kurt, and he allways had a smile, allways been nice with people. Now life hitting Dave and him, glad they have each other

I sooo respect & love Pat Smear always & forever! He seems to be so humble & quiet but he has so much interesting life & stories to tell! At the end of Kurt's life - he was undoubtedly his best friend! He needs to write a book!!! Live forever Pat we love you.

He’s so cool, you know as a kid the other kids must have given him a lot sh*t about his name calling him Pap Smear and worse for being bisexual. He takes that and uses it as fuel for the outlet he took in Punk rock (and grunge, hard rock) and got out all his anger and frustration that way which is smart and way more fun. At least he’s not punching out his friends anymore 😂 He’s a badass for not giving one single f’ about what anyone thinks or says. Not to mention he’s good and has the best job in the world…

Kylo, I love how you share your loves with well us. Not sure that you were alive when Pat Smear joined Nirvana but you would of loved it.
Pat Smear whenever he played for Nirvana & when he plays fot Foo Fighters, his got such swagger. No one plays the guitar with as much happiness as Pat Smear. You just want to watch him, it's so much joy & so infectious. When he left the Foo Fighters, they just weren't the same. Dave Grohl knew that, & the story is Dave Grohl got on his hands & knees & begged Pat to stay.
Then Pat Smear went on to host the "House Of Style", interviewing Super Model's & other Fashion Icons. You have some of this footage in this Video.
You didn't include footage from when he interviewed or rather went shopping with the Spice Girls in a New Jersey Shopping Mall. That was "House of Style".
If you haven't seen it, go look it up, as honestly it's Pat Smear's best work.

Unfortunately i wasnt alive during the 90s lol! But i've seen basically everything i can with the tools i have today. I'm a bit of both a Nirvana as Foo Fighters -Junkie if you will, and so i love finding out everything about these guys! I am a big fan of Pat's general joyious vibe. He's an amazing guitarist and early Foo-Pat was a absolute fashion icon as well! He's amazing and lovely, and as a hobby-guitarist he's a big inspiration to me :)
I did stumble upon that video and i included a few seconds of the Spice Girls video ( 1:52 ) and i agree with you, it is one of the most iconic Pat videos i have seen!

I saw the others there shrug shoulders. I stepped over to Lemmy and sugested a bar nearby. It is large has 2or 3 pool tables descent music and the girls do not push too hard for your money like similar places do. He =looked at me with a what does that mean expresion to that. Lemmy had a Big smile noding yes to that. After I learned He knew The Romones and Wendy o !illiwilliams with The Plasmaticsan played with both He was a Great person ant spoke with me like a friend. I told him Motorhead may be a Hard Rock /Metal Band but I like it and I am a surf punk too. I think Motorhead has a good Punk sound in some of the stuff I like most. Not the Punk so hard you can not understand the lyrics. He looked happy to hrar that. I thinl he is in the better place knor or should be!
