I have both the Khadlaj and Amouage. They are extremely similar. The Amouage is a better performer but they are insanely similar.
it's so close that I can get by without reflection man now
Ash, Reflection Man is one of my fave frags, if not my fave. And, Khadlaj Shiyaaka is like 95% accurate in my opinion. I love it. And, it would probably be my signature scent if i believed in that. But, i get bored quickly of the same thing all the time. Even half way through a day i can start to think about putting on a different frag, lol. But yes, i put this one really really up there with frags like Valentino Born in Roma Intense, Dior Homme Intense, YSL L'Homme Edp, Armani Code Parfum, Armani Code Absolu, Bleu de Chanel Parfum, Chanel Allure Sport, etc.
The bottle is a straight rip from Amiri by Arabaian Oud, but that bottle is crazy heavy with an insanely strong magnetic cap.
Aaah the old desk vibes 🔥😎 & kinda like this setup/background a lil more sometimes. Hmmm this maybe going forward for Extra Gents Scents 🤔🤩

The package of this frag just came today and after comparing it to my OG sample of reflection, I can say that this one is currently the best amouage reflection clone at the market, I've tried the killer oud revolution but gets dissapointed, but this one is a banger.
Hows the performance?
Is it stable and fragrant?

In what way, the background wall? The new setup is way better with the table and being able to see things he's talking about the whole time. Much cleaner, while the old one is busy is serves no purpose
The bottle design reminds me of the older aweful Armaf bottles ...
Since you already opened Afternoon Dive can you let us know about longevity? Not looking for beast mode but not looking for 3 hours either. Thanks!

That bottle style is cheap because it is easy and cheap to make in terms of glass formation and handling. Also they are easier to mass produce and handle at the factory when they are flat like that.
Could anyone recommend if it’s mass appealing and a safe blind buy?
I get a chamomile / insect repellant note at the beginning of Shiyaaka. But like it after that dies off, I was surprised that this was based off something so popular... Bought a decant of reflection and get a slight repellant smell from that too lol. But in drydown I enjoy both. I get similar performance from both too.
This reminds me of Prada red or Rosso I had some years ago..

That's a better blend, but terrible performer.

ASH!!!! since you don’t respond to emails… anyways please try Arabian Silver Vetiver by Le Chameau. Its phenomenal! Is it a clone of TV Grey Vetiver or Creed Vetiver? I don’t know but it’s awesome!!!!
The bottle is a clear copy of Arabian Oud Amiri: the bottle is all metal + glass, magnetic cap and weighs more than 1kg :P I have that one and is a great arabian take on a freshie: citrus, oud and vanilla. Try it out if you have the chance.
its similar but not an exact copy, arabian oud amiri is much better quality, both in juice and bottle
@@tjpfz6 of course, Arabian Oud is a niche brand. I was talking about the bottle style, it's pretty clear what they tried to copy. As i said even the bottle screams "luxury": Heavy glass, lot of metal and a magnetic cap on top of it.

What ruins Reflection Man to me is the jasmine especially on dry down. It's to animalistic to my noise and spoils the otherwise great vibe. Reflection Man 45 cuts back on it a bit but still not enough form me. If they used a clean musk instead of the strong jasmine it would probably be in my collection but instead I traded it.
