I heard somebody once explain the difference between the elite performers, and the rest, is their response to events. Events happen, Response is yours to make, and they combine to the Outcome. I'm looking forward to hearing what your desired outcome is, and how you plan on getting there.

True Grit! Subject: Commentary. Dude, I started to follow you on Tube after your breakdown of the CF- 2018 Games. You can run/ breakdown the stats way better than the (wonderful) CF-Staff currently on the show. (Or Rouge, for that matter). Even if the new management can supply great new insights with stats, I haven't seen anybody who can embody them and thereby present them intelligibly. That would be my advice for your hard sell for a spot on the CF (Rouge) commentary team. Much Success!! 🤘

My wife went to UCLA. We live in the sacramento area. Caught wind that a Collegiate Quiddich tournament was happening in our area. I mean, you have to go and support your Alma Matter right?! Went and had the best time watching the games! I remember seeing this small girl alligator roll the biggest dude on the opposing team. I think she even went on to score or assist on a score. I was hooked! His team better be named after Winston and he’s got to be the mascot! I’d buy the merch to help support the team

Thanks Jacob! You personally helped me take the leap into the crossfit community. I remember some of my first workouts were from Midwest Made when Andrew, Jake, and you made commentary on your workouts. Good times haha. You definitely need to round them up and do some commentary with them again.

Found this to be an awesome and inspiring video; but it has left me with some questions: 1. Is this a repeating cycle of finding a form of 'self-value' with a particular label for a moment in life? and 2. Is that how life is lived - a series of repeating cycles where one takes on an image of how to define ones' self? Like the 'defining self-description' with regard to being the 'football player' mentioned at the start of the video, then followed by the 'CrossFit athlete', and now, a new one, like 'CrossFit commentator' or (insert title here)?

And it's sooo crazy that the 3 Crossfit athletes I watch on here are all stepping away from competing and/or branching out into new things..
