big budget films choose CGI even when it doesn't look good because VFX studios have much worse worker protection than physical set experts :/ so VFX is artificially cheaper this is a great use of budget for an ad company though I love to see gorgeous practical with cgi used where it works best (altering existing background details). I wonder if the actors have a stunt background that looks like it took some acrobatic skill on their part
Because the video was short. The effect was so much better because they only had to budget for a a minute or two or video. Even the Big Hollywood movies don’t have the budget to do stunts like this for 2 hr long movies.
Actually some marvel movie actually use those kind of practical effect. For example when Captain America is running at full speed faster than anyone else. They used something similar to this to pull Chris Evan really fast while he is mimicking running.
