Is the expansion gap in video not a tad excessive, it looks to be the same width as some Skirting boards ... How are you then supposed to be able to cover gap effectively with the skirtings ?
The gap is dependent on the width & length of the room. When we sell/install we make it clear what gap is required. There are dozens of solutions to cover the gap. Wood, vinyl, pvc. Depends on the clients' budget and preference.
