I like the very very first version the most. It's so tender and reluctant and innocently sweet.

I sang this to my son when he was in intensive care as a baby…he lived the two on either side left…my boy has always said he doesn’t know why he loves this song so much..I never told him about the singing…he’s 35 now with a son of his own….

Paul desde siempre tuvo una inspiración lirica muy superior a los otros Beatles, sin que ellos dejaran de ser genios. Sólo es que su sensibilidad se enfoca a lo más profundo de un hecho. Por ejemplo, en Eleanor Rigby, siendo un joven de apenas 23 años, reflexionaba de una manera tan profunda sobre la soledad, la religión, la vida y la muerte acompañado de una música barroca tan bella, que rompió todo los modelos de la música popular hasta ese momento. Y ya en pleno desarrollo de sus talentos como compositor, multiinstrumentista y poeta, en el invaluable álbum doble The Beatles, legó dos preciosas joyas musicales y poéticas : Mother's nature son y Blackbird, que ha trascendido no sólo por su belleza lirica y musical; su dedicatoria a la lucha por los derechos humanos de la minoría afroamericana le da calidad de himno a la capacidad de elevarse sobre todos los infortunios.

Yes, l feel sad to hear that since the years he turned eighty, Paul has lost his voice capacity.. But, we should know that since the beginnings of the Beatles in Hambourg, Paul has never spared his voice. If his tour goes through Europe, l'm not sure l'll go see him. I might prefer to keep the memory of all his concerts intact.

Y conociendolo a Paul yo creo que esta apoyando más a eso (los ucranianos defendiendose ante la opresion y lo que practicamente seria una dictadura donde no creo que recibirian un buen trato), que a la guerra en si.
