Anyone else lost it when she was running after being called while still tied up for her splayed legs? She looked like the most adorable wind-up toy ever!
I incubated & hatched 8 ducklings after a coyote got both parents. They make amazing pets (and so do pigs no matter what the size). This brings back fond memories! Thanks for finding and saving her life ! 🥰🥰🥰
I agree good story .I liked the fact she helped all the animals. I would like to see what happens when she gets older . I am going to assume she will not be living in the house.Who knows?
I'm gonna mangle a famous quote here. You can fell a lot about a person's character by how she treats those who can do nothing for her. Clearly, she's the kind of person this world needs more of.
Isn't it great to grow up around ducks and animals that are compatible. I grew up in Florida with ducks and herons and geeze, all wild. The neighborhood watched out for predictors so we truly saw no mayhem. Lots of turtles there, too.
@@deborrahshiffer9582 I am generally wary when I watch this kind of content because there are people that exploit young animals for clicks and followers. Animals of.all kinds are pushed and prodded to the point of stress, exhaustion or worse, just for a picture. These videos each night are a great distraction from what's going on in the world right now. They are a reminder of the nice things that are going on, that without the internet would never know it's happening
Thank you for showing LOVE to the little duckling. (I love she is going to be loved the rest of her life)!! It brings HOPE in humans toward animals in need and how to treat them with Love and Kindness.
So adorable, reminds me of the chicks or ducklings my grandfather would bring for me and my siblings to raise and care for when granddad found an abandoned nest somewhere. We raised at least 50 healthy chicks and ducklings over the years and it taught us responsibility and compassion as youngsters. Thanks Granddad:)
I received for my 14 birthday a one-day last duckling from a merchant in a town market in Europe. I raised him, all white and unable to swim, and loved him for 5 years. He was obsessed with our blind rescued dog and always played with him. He liked to pinch his nose and played hide and seek with the poor dog who was searching to catch him. They slept together in the big doghouse along each summer. And as he was getting old, the dog caught him one day and broke his neck. The vet saved him, driving fast to a specialized slaughterhouse to bring duck blood for transfusion. But he died from trauma and stress a few weeks later. He was my soulmate, my BFF along teen years. His name was Coin-Coin.
What a sad ending - you must have been devastated. A wonderful experience to have had growing up with him, though, and seeing him have a friend in the dog. But it's not all sunshine and flowers - many sad things can happen as we are raising pets. I am glad you had a good, happy experience for 5 years. I hope you have been able to have other pets to love. 💖

I raised a duckling under similar circumstances. I found Dinky as I was doing chores before church. I didn’t have time to set anything up, so I wrapped him in a hanky and took him to church in an otherwise empty purse. He was so very young; he was tired and slept most of the service. He woke about 10 minutes before the end and began cheeping, so I had to cuddle him to make him quiet. Dinky grew up in the house with our Pitbull, and even after he moved out to the duck yard, he and the dog remained friends.
Awww, that's a precious baby. You're a precious baby too. This world needs people like you. Badly. Right now the world is full of haters and war mongers.
YOU ARE TRULY A BLESSING TO BEA!!!! She is a blessing to you as well! THANK GOD FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU!!!! BEA is so incredibly fortunate!!!! God bless you both!!!!!!
Ducks are wonderful. The way they can tilt their heads and look at you with an apparent smile on their face is priceless. And there's the tail wagging of course.
What a lovely person you are! All of your pet children get their positive energy from you and they reciprocate onto others in need. The world is a better place because of people like you. Truly amazing and thank you for sharing🙏
This is such a sweet and cute story. My heart is melting profusely. God bless this young lady for saving this little duckling. Also God bless little Bea and the rest of the pets she is growing up with.
I’m glad to see I’m not the only crazy person around to help animals, that’s one lucky duck to find a person that kind to look after it,what a nice thing to do.
In my 3rd grade class (so ~1980), we raised Mallards from the incubator. While I don't know now if that's necessarily a good idea(?), b/c of the ducks and for other reasons, it was the best school year ever.🦆
Yes I remember that. In my stupid school all the kids "got a turn" taking the ducks home for a day or two. I didn't know any better., we lived in apartment and other kids had definitely not the right conditions. It was horrible. I felt like I wanted to keep the ducks until the "program" off whatever that was., was over because I was afraid other kids wild see them as toys and mess with them too much. My Dad at the very least filled the tub and made sure the water was warm. Got ducky food and all my ducks went back alive but my father also was making sure they were ok. Not all parents know and not all ducks came back and I knew something was wrong when this passing the ducks around. I was in LA county public school system around 1984-85. I hope that insanity stopped. When I saw this video it warmed my heart 💛
Heres you a duck story. I wanted a duck. My neighbor got twelve grown ducks. Well they learned to travel around the neighborhood. They separated 6 went one way 4 went another and 2 moved to my house. They stayed around and then they started disappearing. Well my neighbors from hell lived across the street. They moved and come to find out they were eating the ducks. The new owners found one on the bbq pit and one left in the oven. They killed all but one and it joined my 2 ducks. So I have 3 of the original group. Loved your story thank you for rescuing the little baby duck. You have a big heart. Lots of room to love animals.

I also would like to know her entire story.
You now have a feathered friend for life. Lucky you with this sweetie. 🥰
This made me cry. Seeing the animals becoming friends with each other and the love and time this lady has dedicated to them is beautiful to see! 💜
She said she named the 2 other ducks Blanche and Dorothy...that cracked me up. I am assuming she is a Golden Girls fan. 😁
I was thinking in my head, "Where's Rose?" 😆
