Great video y’all!! I had the same smoker / grill a fe years ago. Had it for almost 5 years, kept covered, had to sell due to moving. Got almost what I paid for it, an awesome Smoker🔥 Switching to a pellet grill, now we are going to purchase The Oklahoma Joe Longhorn Combo again! Can’t beat the charcoal/ stick burner 🔥Thanks
Brought this Longhorn Combo over the xmas period, and love it. I have used it continuously with both the smoker and gas and love the difference this has made to the food. Turkey, whole chickens, brisket and Ribs and they have all turned out great compared to using my old BBQ. I purchased a CAN of Black heat resistant spray paint to touch up the areas that can get extremely hot and and burns the original coating, works a treat. Only disappointing thing is I can't get an outside cover here in NZ yet.
Purchased my Oklahoma JOe's Longhorn Combo grill today (7/22/20) as an earlier 53rd present to myself (Bday not until 8/29). I already have meats thawing in the refrigerator for this coming Saturday. I can not wait to put mine together. I just hope that I can put my grill together as fast as you did. lol. I really enjoyed your video.
Seeing the way this was boxed up, I wonder how people say they unit was scratched and damaged when they opened the box up. Thank you for posting. I have been looking at the Oklahoma Joe but was concerned about some reviews stating they got damaged items. Looked like it was packed up pretty well.
We've had this model for over six years now. It will do the job, but we have our quibbles. First of all, there are lots of times it's just too small. Both cooking surfaces could stand to be half again bigger. We modified the smoker end of it, blocking part of the opening from the firebox to the smoke chamber (lowering it away from the grates) and use some baffles to help distribute the heat. The firebox is also too small to handle standard size splits of firewood, and making temperature control in the smoke chamber a challenge. The fabric cover they sell for it tends to rot out after about two years. It's also not fully waterproof and lets just enough water flow down the sides to pool into the firebox and smoking chamber. It also washes out the stuff you can't get out of the grease collection system and leaves you with a mess all over your patio.
It’s a delicious salmon the dnr released into the Great Lakes to control the alewives also chinooks , right now 2-5# are perfect for the grill, at 4 yrs of age they can get to 30# plus
I’ll drop some off on my next trip from Wisconsin to Florida you’re somewhere in between right? I’m a new subscriber through north country off grid have a great day
@@RidgeLife as long as it served you well I have the tiny jet boil stove but no space for a big griller like you have it would never fit in a pack grin

Love it for sure and thank you for your story! Makes me feel good with my purchase!
MVP!!! Just bought this today. Gonna set up shortly.. Glad to see a recent video. Hope its working out for you!!
Thanks Jordan! Enjoy! They are great!
Man, I put this thing together by myself. The fire box was the hardest part. Love this grill
Wow! Yeah it was tough. Love it though!
Just did mine the other day. Left the handle and warmer off saved a few pounds. Got it in position and let it hang off a bolt. Tough but doable.
Joe Fusco good deal! It’s worth every penny!
I have always wanted one of those grills because of the combination smoker and gas. Hope you enjoy it! Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much! More to come on the grill!
great job
Thanks!

Ha! It’s awesome! I love love love mine. One note, the smoke stack gets installed from inside out. I did it wrong the first time.
Just put mine together yesterday already seasoned can’t wait for the ribs this weekend. How did yours go? How is temp control?
Joe Fusco love mine! Temp control not so good but love the grill!!!

I love mine! I don’t use the gas section often though.
Tim grilled pork chops as his first meal on the grill. They were perfect!
Thanks!

I see your points. I haven't had the issue with the cover though. Mine has held up and doesn't leak (yet...). Thanks!
That is a mean BBQ!
Thank. We are looking forward to doing it all!
Nice video.. just got mine today!
Awesome John! Enjoy!

Really nice Grill! It would be good to be able to use charcoal or gas... But it's out of my Price range...
I justified it by getting three grills in one! Ha! Thx
Bj's got on sale right now for 319
