I now know less about Animorphs.
That's impressive, considering nobody knows anything about Animorphs.
This game is a very poor representative of the book series.

I knew nothing of Animorphs and I still know less every time I watch this, I'm pretty sure.
My favorite part was when the audience stopped cheering for dolphin and cheered for the shark instead to jinx it.
And it worked.
For all of Keiz’s “luck” at GDQ, his runs are consistently great fun. Thanks to everyone who donated for this run, and to the folks at GDQ who keep letting him back 😄
Keizaron is such an amazingly entertaining personality on stage, and EdoBean being thoroughly unimpressed makes this run all the better.
The rallying cry of "Dog! Dog! Dog!" speaks to us all on a spiritual level.

I always look forward to any run Keizaron does, and this was no exception. This was probably the most successful run he has ever had at GDQ.

This game is hilarious. Animorphs was all about stealth, yet you're a snake or elephant just cruising through the high school. Also, morphing right in front of everyone.
Oh, also...assuming human form in front of the controllers.
I also love how in this game you have to defeat a animal in Pokémon style combat to acquire the morph. Like that’s definitely not the best way to get It hahaha.
This run is extra weird to me, because I actually read these books as a kid, so I have a very, very vague sense of what's going on. Which honestly makes it even more confusing.
I love Keiz. Maybe someday GDQ will learn to just add 10 minutes to his final estimate 😂
They added 25 minutes to his Estimate for Glitchless Pokémon Crystal lol because they didn't believe he could beat it in 3:30:00.

Chaotic, ridiculous but absolutely hilarious from start to finish..... I'd expect nothing else from Keiz.

I clicked on this thinking "eh, let's rewatch the animorphs run again". But it's a new run! I am blessed!
I don't know how to explain it, but this was the fastest 52 minutes run I've ever seen. I enjoyed it too much and suddenly was over
Hunting down random Yeerks so you can eat them and regain your health is probably the most tonally accurate thing to the books in this game.
The books got pretty disturbing in places, is what I mean.
The author just straight up said that the books are a war story, and wars aren't happy things with good ends. That's why the ending was so rough- she was trying to accurately portray how even close bonds formed in war may not last in peacetime, and that war doesn't just magically end with the bad guys dead and the day saved.
Depressing stuff.
For sure, i mean by the end of the series Jake is a broken man.
I hope Keizaron always comes to these events. By far one of the most entertaining people around. Great run

about the fifth mission, it was rather common at the time that passwords would actually translate into pieces of code and I believe that's what's happening here. the mission was probably scrapped and left in the files, that's prolly why no developer ever made the password available online.
Keizaron is rocking that beared. The couch was awesome. Mike had so much energy I thought I never see him like that again. Awesome
That last level must have been cut late into development, the instruction manual for the game still mentions Vizor III being the last boss. I think it may have also advertised 5 total missions, but it's been too long for me to remember.
It's December now, and after everything 2020 has put us through I look forward to when we can have a gdq like this one again. Thank you awful block for helping me keep my sanity.

I never saw the original run, but I might have to go watch it after how entertaining this was. Awesome run, Keiz! Also, serious question: Do all of the moves in this game have single digit percent chances to hit or something?

I watched the Crystal speedrun he did and thought he exclusively did pokemon. Seeing Animorphs pop up as one of his speedruns is the exact opposite I was expecting but it feels like it fits him too well. Can't complain.
This was my favourite run from Awful Block, splendid job Keizaron!

Where did this "ORB" thing come from? the crowd did it whenever a Voltorb came out in Keiz's Crystal Run, it happened again in the Lets go Eevee run by Eddaket in which Keiz was on the sofa (Couch for all you Americans), I find it hilarious but I have no idea how it started hahaha
I think it came from a Celeste run, don't remember when it happened but you can probably find it

Late here, but a SMW Speedrunner was playing without mic. At the end of Sunken Ship, you pick up an Orb to end the level. Dude turned on his mic, said “ORB,” scared everyone watching, and a meme was born.

Wow, I can't believe there's a secret final mission they just never let you play for some reason, with an actual final boss, too! What gives?
Normally stuff like this had some technical or production issue, with the dummied out content being incomplete, buggy, or otherwise subpar. But with the quality of the rest of the game...

I was actually kinda hoping that there would be an Animorphs fan or two in there, but it sounds like no one really has a clue what the fuck's going on (Though that may be because of the fact that the game is absolutely batshit). They're great books, if you don't mind a LOT of 90s cheese.
This "game" is absolutely terrifying. Glad to see the Animorphs community is brave enough to develop better strats and find new tech for this cartridge that produces repulsive imagery, cacophonous music, and many rng simulations.
