By holding down the “rotate screen” button on the steering wheel you bring up a sub menu on the screen and can set the button on the wheel to lock a video or take a photo instead of rotating the screen. Super handy quick access if you want to save a clip from the camera, particularly if you don’t use screen rotation.
@@ZangerMarvin19 strange. I just checked mine. All I do is put the main screen on the page that comes up at startup and hold the rotation button down for about 1 sec. The menu comes up straight away with 3 options you can choose from.
The reason it appears to be complex to install a "hard-wired" dashcam is due to the removal of internal dash panels to get to the fuse box and associated wiring to be hidden. I have seen DIY and find I do not have all of the required tools to get it done right nor want to damage my car which wont fall under warranty if I do it myself. My MG4 will get the Navman MiVue Pro 4K installed very soon by Voltaic in Welshpool (Perth, WA) at the same time they will install the electric tailgate from Aliexpress.

I tryd to open the cover under the mirror and there is no camera installed in my byd 🤣
Was the camera wiring already there or did you have tô install the cable?
