How did I miss this wonderful city? I visited Alicante and Valencia, but nothing in between and it seems like such a great area! Thanks for opening my eyes, Nicole, and for all the thorough research you've done for this video! Great job, as usual!
I certainly appreciate how you cover many aspects of living in an area! A few things that would be helpful as well would be healthcare for an expat. Do they have private insurance options? Is healthcare of quality and accessible? I am going to review your other videos, but another important consideration I have for considering an expat life is the ease of getting a residence visa. Thanks again!
Love your videos! I love Altea and that region besides Benidorm which I HATE but tell me.If I want a little place to go sometimes and rent for an extra income, where should I look? My budget is not a big one 180.000 USD or so.I live in France and here taxes devore any income!!Thanks and keep smiling
Thank you for the useful information. My gf and I are looking to settle down on the eastcoast of Spain. We've been living on Mallorca for 3 years now, and we love it. We're from Europe, not from Spain though. It's a big step, and can be complicated with mortgage, downpayment and all that, no? Anyway, thank you again, very inspiring channel.
It's exciting to be taking those first steps! I've got a lot of info about the process of buying a house. In general, I think the process is pretty simple, but there are definitely situations that can drag it out or make it more complicated. I'll be doing a video soon, specifically about mortgages in Spain. 🙂
Took me an hour to or more to watch the video, as I kept going to Idealista and Rome to Rio to see what you can get. I like the prices where you can get a place with Altea Pueblo with sea views under 300,000 Euros. And you can take the tram to Benidorm for a Euro or two and get there under 15 minutes. I hate the idea of renting, but probably would do so for a bit.
I'm happy you found the information about the cost of living and property prices in Altea helpful! What a great idea to check the tram options! That's really great info! I agree that renting first for a bit is almost always a good idea. I hope it all works out for you! 🙂

Aww, thank you so much! The whole Costa Blanca area between those two cities is really special! 🙂

Awesome information; heading to Barcelona in January
But adding benidorm for future reference
❤❤❤ Thanks Nicole!
Great video!
My wife and I will definitely visit Altea after the New Year!
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy your visit!
You are very good at making videos like this!
Wow! Thank you so much! 😊
Awesome and beautiful project on previous video!
Thank you! 🙂
Here in California😂 in the summer months, the electricity has been $$1100-$1200 a month
Is there a hospital or other good medical facilities in Altea? Is Benidorm the closest? It’s important for seniors to know.

+1
The problem with Altea is that is too hilly. I don’t think I want to go up those hills on an everyday basis. Thanks but no thanks
Yeah, it's definitely not for everyone. 🙂
I guess Lisbon wouldn't be your favourite
How about Cadiz? It is really beautiful.
Hi Olivia, great and useful videos, I need to ask you few questions, where can I send you an email
