If I'm not mistaken, that Sentry used to be in Shoreview, MN. Also, that Thunderbolt head with no rotator cover at 2:38, I think that's the Bolt I took my cover off of.
@@easttennesseelightsandsire8152well by what I’ve been told like every Thunderbolt is reserved. I’m still gonna Try to get one, if I can’t I’ll just pick up a 2001-SRN or DC from there. I think 2001s are cheaper there anyways
With all of those sirens, are you able to just take stuff or do you require permission to take stuff? EDIT: Really wished I lived in the American area.
My 10 year old son is currently obsessed with sirens and videos of WSS. Is this open to the public? We are in Ohio. This would make his entire life if we could visit.
7:08 hey! who crushed up that thunderbolt not okay!!!
The minute I get enough money to go up there and look what they got, they'll be closed and empty.

How much is a thunderbolt 1003 with blower
Fun fact, I believe that Allertor at 3:30 is the same one that's in my profile pic. It came from White Bear Lake, MN.
5:32 trainsandsirens1 owns the 1003SB
Someone should have bought one of the EOWS-812s.
What was the condition of the allertor projector? Looking to purchase it for my BN44G

The first couple of whelens in the first video. I have seen one. I’m not sure if it still works still though…
The sirens looks like I can pick it up
If the siren is fully assembled, you cannot pick it up
Why are so many enthusiasts visiting WSS in August?
This may sound stupid but where is this located at
Allendale Michigan, just west of Grand Rapids
I'd like to visit there during the winter season. Be able so see a whole lot more. Besides, I need t bolt parts. Lol
Dont go nabbing everything now lol. I hope to pick me up one one day.
@@TheSleepyMechanic0524 from the looks of it, there is plenty to go around. 😁
@@easttennesseelightsandsire8152 I know haha. Was just yanking your chain

Where is the graveyard and are you able to get the sirens for free?
5:32 Now that’s cool
5:16 I have a slight feeling that’s one of Cantons or even two of Cantons 1003s. Still looking brand new as they’re both from the 1990s.
Pretty sure they are, didn’t see a single 1990 tag so probably older
@@CentralIllinoisSirens Hm, might have been the other 1003's there. I'll have to look for myself some other time.
I wish Sentry 40v2T with 5/8 horns and 10/16 ports just like Decots.
I WOULD LOVE TO GO HERE AND BUY A FEW SIRENS AND TRY AND FIX 'EM
With all of those sirens, are you able to just take stuff or do you require permission to take stuff?
EDIT: Really wished I lived in the American area.
You have to pay for them
@@CentralIllinoisSirens That's fair enough lol
How much do they cost when you take a chopper or parts?
I wish a thunderbeam with the rotor of SD-10 called RSD-10
3:01 I’m thinking of calling next week and making a reservation on one of those 1003s
My 10 year old son is currently obsessed with sirens and videos of WSS. Is this open to the public? We are in Ohio. This would make his entire life if we could visit.
Yes, you can by calling their number. You can look it up on google to find it, and make an appointment for which ever date you please, I think.
Imagine of one of those sounds it automatically turned on if a tornado comes
That’s not possible these sirens are not hooked up to power and most of them are in horrible condition
Do you know what they are doing with that 10v2t
They need to stop taking down thunder bolt sirens
I Wanna Thunderbolt
They kinda did in Longview, WA, but they are just sitting there rotting away
Did you see my Thunderbolt while you were there? It should be in the 2nd garage. (The garage that has all of the blower motors FCs)
you went back
omg
absolutely
yep i take this and restore it
Cool!
i started crying lol
are you allowed to buy those sirens?
Yes but very expensive
Do they sell sirens?
Yes
where is this place
Allendale Michigan, just west of Grand Rapids
hahahaha hahahaha
Please move the camera slower.
it always seems to rain whenever you go to wss LOL
Every time man
@@CentralIllinoisSirens oh it's gonna rain for me too, so that's very nice
Idk why, but I never have, nor will I ever like anything about a 2001… it’s just a box with a horn on it and that’s all… nothing special at all.
@@CentralIllinoisSirens nope
@@TexasRailfan2008Not surprising.
