Am I the only one who even loves the premise of this song? Spark Man thinks that robots and electricity are like humans all and everything, like how he says they are both the virus and cure, like yin and yang, the city(unnatural) and the heart(natural), and if they break the program, or my guess is stop working for them, they're 'no more'... Genius as usual.
*Sparkman walks along the city at war as he sings this proclamation, human resistance fighters foolishly trying to stop him, their bullets dissolving on his electronic shield, their forces falling in droves to his arcing blue death. He sees Mega Man, standing over the body of his closest brother, his gun arm still smoking, and his hands curl into fists. He sees the weapons chips of his other brothers on Mega Man's arm, and though they will be missed, he will mourn later. For now, there is war.*
Guys... I just noticed something.
"Evolution of Circuitry" (Elecman's song) ends with the phrase "I'll send the spark of war along the wire."
Could this song be about Sparkman wanting to avenge Elecman? And that Mega Man "sparked a war" with Sparkman when he defeated Elecman?
this song was actually pretty awesome... and then the album came out and made it even better.

I actually like this version more than the album one. It feels a little more passionate, for lack of a better term.

Keep in mind, with both The Megas and The Protomen, it's not the megaman universe that you know from the games. The Robot Masters, story, Megaman, etc are all the same. That being said, it could just be a metaphoric indication of his feelings.

@Shodredux Exactly. It probably wasn't intentional, but if it was it was brilliant. His hands can only really be defined by how they're used, not how they look. And he's feeling them turned from tools of manipulation into tools of war.

I wish the song had more words in it, it kind of feels like the instrumental parts go on a bit too long. It has so much potential, ya know?

Sorry If I am wrong, but for what I know, there is no consensus if viruses are, or not, living organisms. Each people/scientists defends what they think.

@thegamerkid77 whenever a robot master says 'we' they mean all 6-8 robot masters n that game, along with dr wily. Until they do searchman, that's how it's gonna be.

@Gactivefy You forget that Rockman is still all about...well, rock. The compositions are kind of meant to be crazy-awesome, but the chiptunes posed limitations.

@TheAwesomeRacoon Sadly, Capcom makes all of its money from their Monster Hunter fans in Japan, which dwarfs the size of America's WoW fan base. Practically 90% of their profit comes from Monster Hunter. We're lucky they even make other games.
