Thanks for the kind words! I've been wanting to do another one, and I most likely will. I just started doing Weather Briefs with OU Nightly this semester....maybe I'll do a Friday vlog and show what we get up to behind the scenes!

Sorry for the late reply. You can do anything you can put your mind to! I will also tell you, here at the University of Oklahoma, there are plenty of resources for you to explore academically. Take a look into it!

i know this is from 6 months ago. but I have recently really considered going to OU for
meteorology. My biggest concern is the difficult of the class. I am pretty bad at math and science and i don’t want that to hinder me but i also don’t want to get out there and regret my decision yk?
It will only hinder you if you let it. I am not the greatest at math specifically and I was able to make it this far! You never know until you try, so if it’s your dream, don’t let anything get in your way. OU is the greatest school for meteorology, so you’ll be going to a place with great people and resources to help you when you need it!
And if it ends up not being what you want it to be, there is absolutely no shame in changing your career path. I know plenty of people who have done that, and they are doing well at what they do!
@@cdfinleyjr4507 I appreciate it. i’ve also been looking at A&M because instate is so much cheaper and the price on OU is quite expensive. I go to TCC in Fort Worth so transferring is a lot nicer for sure. I did talk to someone at A&M today because they were having a college day and he said that he had the same issue with the math and he said i could major in an easier science class but then minor in meteorology so i would get a similar experience. not sure what that all entails but i’m just praying and asking the Lord to guide me because hey, we walk by faith, no by sight(2 Corinthians. 5:7) We don’t know how it’s going to workout, but I know a God who does! It’s definitely confusing and stressful trying to find the right major and minor 😂
@@speedyyy5181 right on brother! A&M is a great school too, I am also from Texas, OU and A&M were my top choices when I was applying back in my senior year of high school. Just trust in the Lord, have faith, and you’ll be where you are supposed to be!

Sorry for the late reply...I was an undergraduate! I just graduated this past May with my Bachelor of Science in Meteorology! I'm now working in Waco, Texas as a TV Meteorologist for KWTX News 10. I'm realizing it might be time to do a follow up video...I'll see about throwing one together at some point soon!
