34% of Jonas Gray’s career rushing yards and 4 of his 5 career TDs all came in this one game!

I’m more a dog person!
NFL Throwback I am a dog person who has a cat
I can respect it
I can't believe they were talking 7 years ago about Brady being past his prime and he's still winning Super Bowls so many years later! Incredible.
After the "on to cincinati" game, he has won 4 SBs.
They were saying that in 06 just shows how the experts know 🥴
He’s bad
And Bill actually wanted to trade him for Jimmy G to be next up
You think Thom had herpes yet?

@@lawrencegenedavid2288 Oh Hell Yeah Man!
don't guess i get it
Lol
He is THICK 😭😂
Shoutout to Brandon LaFell who had a terrific 2014 season.
Almost got 1k yards although that Packers game was lit too
He was on my fantasy team that year. He was a great flex
From lsu
And then became Brandon LaDrop in 2015😐
Hell yeah dude
Jonas Gray: "How could Bill not play me after that performance?" Malcolm Butler: "Jonas, hold my beer."
“He is thick”
I swear Collinsworth has said that a million times.
At a bar:Chris how that girl look
Chris Collinsworth: Heres a girl who looks thicc
He's a jerk!!!
@@aspenrebel Yeah He Is Indeed
thicc
And everyone rushed out to get him off the waiver wire like a kid running after the ice cream truck, and then he proceeded to gain 91 total yards the rest of the season.
I picked him up simply because it was against the colts rush defense. I immediately dropped him after I got the win that week.
Thanks Jonas Gray!!
@@rudythompson7377the colts clearly couldn’t defend the run no matter who was playing. The AFCCG it was a run heavy game too it’s just that it was Blount not Gray.
He goes off. He's the number one waiver wire pickup for fantasy. Then shows up late to practice and never heard of again.
What Derrick Henry almost was

😭😭
This was such a great season. The were a lot of good games, great highlights and special moments, the 2014 Patriots team really felt special. There were a lot of players I watched growing up still on the team who left soon after that make me look back with a lot of nostalgia.
Yeah the start of the second dynasty. I was glad Revis got a ring. The playoff game against the ravens then the Seahawks were some of the best games ever
That question for Tom at the start was great. "Tom do you feel like you're past your prime?". Here we are in 2021 and he just won his 7th with a real threat to repeat. Classic stuff.
Everybody: ok, let's game planning for Pats best weapons
Belichick: here is my latest walmart cashier that will run through you
Peak Belichick 🤣
Didn’t even know there was anybody on the team named Gray and he scored 4 times lmao
I was at that game! It was around my 25th bday. Had my Brady jersey on and everything. There were so many Patriot fans. I'll miss TB on the Pats but will definitely be rooting for him on the Bucs.
Dang you’re old
"That's our camera?"
"Jimmy Fallon in the background over there."
LMFAO
Jonas Gray was an unexpected surprise in this game
I mean the colts run defense was horrendous, so a big body rb like that is like kryptonite
Maybe it was. (I’m a big colts fan and I always knew we had a bad run d, that’s why legaret blunt always made us look like a fool)
@@Klabarge92 well to be honest it’s cuz u had no defensive line you guys had a decent secondary and good linebackers and could get to the qb but had no defense line on the 3-4 3-4 defenses never work anymore because of that
What ever happened to Jonas Gray? Dude disappeared completely after this.
He got cocky from the stardom belicheck said hell no let him go
Something about a bad week after this game with him missing practice due to his car breaking down and after that Belichick resigned Legarrette Blount after being released by the Steelers
BeastMode 21 i thought he overslept for a meeting?
@@markow.3054 That's exactly what happened.
@@markow.3054 Yeah cause he forgot to charge his phone. Or more specifically, he plugged his phone charger in but didn't secure it properly. The phone died overnight and the alarm did not go off.
Thank goodness for NFL Throwback. It's the only thing that has let me keep my sanity the last five months.
You should upload more of the early super bowls, or (I don’t know if there is footage) but the first NFL draft. Either way, great work!
There is. Just one isn’t in color
I don't even remember this game for Gray. I remember it for Gronk leaving Colinsworth literally speechless with that "runaway truck" catch and run play. (16:27)
Oh man, i like that you're putting out these classics. :D (We're on to Cincinnati)
"We're on to Cincinnati" All time favorite line from belchick
4 Superbowls for Brady since then. His 4th was won against.....the Kansas City Chiefs.
IMO greatest Pats team ever. Edelman and Gronk healthy, defense had Revis, Browner, Arrington (who had a career year), Wilfork, Ninko, prime Jamie Collins and Hightower, McCourty. Seriously, they started off rough and nearly ended in disaster with the Kearse catch, but it really was meant to be
The 2014 Patriots has a special place in my heart! What a team!
Forgetting about the talent waiting in the cornerback depth chart in Malcolm Butler and Logan Ryan. One only imagine how this unit would've operated if Jerod Mayo stayed healthy
No. The 2007 team is easily the best, followed by 2004. The 2014 group is a bit overrated. Wilfork wasn't good anymore; Browner was up and down; O-Line was average; D-Line was average. People always remember Revis and think that automatically makes the team superior to any other. I mean, Stephon Gilmore has been better for us than Revis was that one year.
Make no mistake, I love the 2014 team, too. But during the season, outside of their 7 game winning streak, I never felt they were that distinct from a lot of other Patriots teams. I actually liked the 2016 team more; if they had Gronkowski all year and if Brady hadn't been suspended, that team would've gone 15-1 and been even more dominant.
@@LukeR.5117 who would that 1 loss be to in 2016 season then?
@@LukeR.5117 2016 is right up there for me too. Brady was one goal line td away from potentially running the dang table.
Also, do Jerome Harrison a former running back of the Browns who had 286 yards rushing against the Chiefs in 2009.
Ha..... the browns. Known most for a fumble.
Rowdy Jr. I’ve seen that video and I’ve been a subscriber to him since 2017 I just want to see highlights of the whole game not just his highlights and since I’m a Raiders fan I want to see highlights/lowlights of the Chiefs when they were trash before they had Andy Reid and Pat Mahomes.
Never to be heard of again. :(
The underrated O-line that had the rookies of Thuney & Andrews, Vollmer, FB Devlin etc
Came for a RB video, saw a McAfee highlight at 4:23.
Don’t need to look cuz 2014-2015 is one of the greatest NFL seasons I’ve ever watched. This was immediately after the Colts bye week. Pats won 42-20 at Indy with Jonas Gray rushing for 201 yds and 4 TDs. Hakeem Nicks and linemen Anthony Castonzo scored for Indy
That whole Playoffs was meme worthy with heartbreaks. Shit especially the NFC side of things. Cowboys lose to Packers to fluke play/no call, Packers lose to Seahawks due to fluke offsides, Seahawks lose to Patriots on 1 of the most improbable plays made by Malcolm Butler after 2 plays prior being rewarded with a fluke Kearse Catch. In a superbowl where the Tyree catch happened years ago. Shit was crazy
@@beastmode218 the Lions got screwed with the refs against the Cowboys
Man, Jonas Gray was a beast in that game. I swear I was thinking about this game before you put out the highlights. Thanks NFL Throwback.
Jonas “Al Bundy” Gray
Could you show the Bears 73-0 win over the Redskins?
There's footage?
Damn, Andrew Luck was a truly beast playing as healthy. Injuries take off his carrer. I think with a great defense the man already had it at leats one ring
I don't know. He never performed too well in the playoffs.
@@LukeR.5117 Never? He led one of the greatest comebacks ever and some other impressive wins including upsetting the Broncos on the road.
Almost every throw he made was a perfect spiral, wish we could have seen what a full career he could have had. Colts really dropped the ball.
@@LukeR.5117 give andrew luck peyton mannings colts teams, and he wins 3 rings, coming from a pats fan
Despite all this, the pass game was still more efficient. 8.6 yards/attempt for Brady. Finished with an elite qbr grade
That's weird given how rough his first half was.
What's crazy is the offensive line performed this well without Scarnecchia. That group of Solder-Vollmer-Connolly was just really good
I wish I still had the picture but I was the only person in the world who started Jonas Gray in fantasy. I was forced to because I had Arian Foster, LeVeon Bell, and Jonas Gray on my roster. Foster got ruled out and I was forced to start Gray and he was projected to get 3 points
Brady's best targets for deep ball routes:
Brian Tyms and Aaron Dobson.......... Smh
Ha! Thank goodness for Gronk's ability to draw 3 guys on intermediate routes. Opened up a lot
It was amazing watching that kid run live. It’s a shame it was only one game
I miss this football so much.
Patriots: Real Madrid!
Colts: Deportivo Alaves! lmfao xD
NFL Throwback what’s happening with Highlight Heaven? I remember the potential colab from months ago
Highlight heaven is overrated
AKG927 no he’s not. He takes so much time out of his day on Sunday’s just to upload for everyone
Loved this 2014 team. Great year, great story. Go pats
Lmao dude missed a meeting and never heard of him again
Also when gronk was the best bouncer
Idk know about everywhere else, but in NE dude was more than a 1 hit wonder. It's like every game he was guaranteed to break big. Bill made a huge mistake of not playing him again. Even when he returned to play in preseason he broke on the packers. IDC outside of Blount, he was easily out best running back on the ground. The closest we had to a homerun threat in a long time
You should upload the Patriots @ Colts game (forgot which year it was) with the Colts swinging gates trick play, just an idea.
Anyone else see Gronk flop at 7:04 lmao
I honestly don't know what he did to piss off Belichick but he iced Jonas Gray's ass after this game
How to go from the cover of Sports Illustrated to the scrap heap in one missed meeting......
If Andrew Luck has a more sufficient team (and coaches/GMs) around him, he would’ve won a championship, let alone have a chance to play in one.
Man if Luck with this colts team now he would of done damage
Thank Ryan Grigson for that. So much Patriots and Peyton Manning envy that he neglected the Trenches in favor of skill players(who became busts) just in Hope's to market Andrew Luck with keeping the Colts relevant. Guess he got his victory when putting Peyton Manning out in Mile High
Jonas Gray would’ve been great if he didn’t act like a kid off the field. I remember that report that he was late for practice right after that 4 TD’s game, and his excuse was that his alarm “didn’t wake him up” lmao
People were think Tom was out of his prime in 2014... and we all know now how wrong they were
My brother's a Colts fan and he likes to take off work when they're playing. I didn't see his reaction but I know he had to be super pissed to stay home for this.😂
Im so glad i got to watch this game live
Dude was so awesome at ND
Yeah absolute beast at ND.
I think a good rb would have gone for 300 in this game, he didn't really gain any extra yardage at any point other than what was there. Went down easy and didn't make anyone miss.
Can you guys do a playlist of highest scoring fantasy games from the past 20 years?
Didn't remember this one until Gronk tried to kill someone with a camera, I remember that.
Fun Fact: Reggie Wayne ended his career in a Pats uniform
I love this rivalry when Tom Brady and Peyton Manning played against each always something special about these two teams play 💯🏈
This wasn’t Peyton Manning
And the colts complained about the footballs even tho they couldn’t stop the run for the entire season
THANK YOU!! The Pats footballs were underinflated for the first half and they were only down by 10 points at halftime, they went on to get shutout 28-0 in the second half when the Pats footballs were properly inflated, so they can't use that as an excuse for the loss as they clearly still would've lost the game
Jonas Gray was told that this game would be his first career start. Shortly after, his phone alarm didn’t go off and he came late to practice. Bill Belichick punished him by never giving him another chance to play. Gray is an example of “what could’ve been”.
Ehhhh didn't help when he didn't improve in training camp the year later. Honestly his story would've taken a Similar turn like Thomas Rawls from the Seahawks being a one hit wonder due to the team's blocking scheme
player 0 he could have done something with another team.
He tore his quad in training camp with the jaguars in 2016. If Belichick wouldn’t have been a asshole, Gray could’ve done great things.
Ah yes, Jonas Gray. Had this huge night seemingly out of nowhere against the Colts and even made the S.I. cover that week. Then he showed up 5 minutes late to a practice the next week and was off the team not even 3 weeks later.
Bill Belichick really is ruthless at times, eh?
Smug Tomato Don’t forget him cutting Tiquan Underwood the day before the Super Bowl
@@Aaron80B for Chad Johnson and I think he cut Underwood on Christmas. He was deactivated for the superbowl
@@Aaron80B Also remember he removed Malcom Buttler when everyone was already at the stadium in the SB against Eagles. I still to this day think BB threw that SB.
And then Bill said, I dont you like you anymore. You wont play ever again
He slept in before a meeting or something like that.
@@colbythedell2749 Yep and rookies male those mistakes. Seriously Bill overreacted.
@@jturner2577 Belichick is a navy oriented head coach this is nothing new. That's why I laugh when people say Brady got carried by Belichick. Let anyone one of these "elite superstar" QBs play with Belichick and they wouldn't last the month cause of his coaching style that constantly grinds on you and only mentions your shortcomings and need to improve. Even an uber talented player like Gronkowski wasn't spared from feeling underappreciated.
@@beastmode218 I agree. That's why when they talk about Aaron Rodgers winning championships with Bill I laugh because there's no way he'd last under the way Bill runs the pats. Rodgers would quit the first week🤣
@@colbythedell2749 Only Drew Brees got a coach from that Bill Parcels background in Sean Payton but even then we got to remember he is an offensive coach and alot more lively than Belichick
Jonas Gray had over 200 yards with no negative runs and no runs over 20 yards. He was also never heard of before or after this game. The NE O-line dominated this game.
I remember on this day Blount walked out on the Steelers, and Gray showed up late to practice the next day, Blount was back starting for the Patriots and gray was never heard from again. Bill don’t play 😂😂😂
3:23 arm punt!
Gronk throwing that one dude out the club, then smiling with a bloody mouth, then pulling off that next play...yeah, that's the Pats I remember.
Jonas Gray. The poor guy wasn't even active for Super Bowl 49 🤣.
Imagine averaging 4.4 ypa for your career and the first real shot you get you go for 200yd and 4td but nobody ever gives you a chance again. But then you got guys who average 3 ypa for their career and stick around for a decade. The league makes no sense sometimes.
Guessing you don't know the whole story by your comment. He explodes in this game and then comes to practice and meetings late and then is cut. He was a slacker.
That's the year the Patriots won the Super Bowl against the Seahawks I wonder what happened to him after that game he has really done much his whole career
Im gonna miss you Brady 😭😭
Did you see the look on Andrew luck's face towards the end of the game?? No wonder why he retired. The colts were literally killing this man from the inside out.
He could never rely on them for anything.
Why do the patriots just have the most random running backs play amazing for them, then after that they just disappear
Could add Shane Vereen in there as well
Literally James Devilin, one of the best fullbacks of the 2010s
Simple. His name is Develin. Develin the God.
Not just backs receivers too
Some suggestions (I know they’re saints games but these are games I would like to see lol)
Saints vs Broncos 2008 Week 3 (saints nearly come back from a huge deficient but broncos end up winning it)
Saints vs Panthers 2008 week 17 (drew Brees nearing the record for most passing yards in a single season, but falls just short and so do the saints after nearly making an amazing 4th qtr comeback)
2008 and previous are a little hard for me to get footage for at the moment but if you got some suggestions for 2011-present I can get those easily!
NFL Throwback u the 🐐 for responding to these comments bro keep up the great content
NFL Throwback ok here’s some easier suggestions; (not saying do all of them lol just listing some)
Saints vs Packers 2011 Week 1 (Brees vs Rodgers opening night shootout)
Saints vs Titans 2011 Week 14
Saints vs Falcons 2013 Week 1
Saints vs Patriots 2013 Week 6 (this one is probably the best game of the bunch)
I like those options!! Packers and Saints play this year so definitely using that one when they play! I’ll find a good spot to use one of these! Thanks for commenting!
Talk about a "once in a lifetime" moment...
Imagine how this game got kicked off “do you feel you’re passed your prime?” That was 4 rings ago……..
Ah yes. The time where the only studs on the Colts' defense were Mathis and Vontae Davis
La aplanadora Patriota! 🟦⬜🟥🏆 Brady + Gronk + Gray = 💥
We own the colts
Jonas Gray singlehandedly beat my fantasy team out of no where. Missed the playoffs. That son of a gun haha
Info says that due to a team infraction, Jonas Gray was benched by Belichick for the next game. He would only gain an additional 91 yards rushing the rest of the season. He was inactive for the Super Bowl. What did he do to piss off Bill? He rushed for 201 yards and 4 TDs. How do you bench a player like that.
Don’t let this game distract you from the fact that the Pats absolutely waxed the Colts in the AFC Championship later that season.
There was speculation that Jonas Gray didn't get another start at New England because he was late to practice the next day because his phone wasn't charging properly to alert him.
Hearing Lucks cadence 😢
The 2nd greatest one game wonder (behind Timmy Smith). And the greatest Patriot one game wonder
1:06 "He is THICC!"

MY GUY JONAS GRAY LMAOOOOO
If this game doesn’t show u Luck had nothing to work with then idk what will. He carried this team to an AFC Championship game against these same Pats. They had 19 rushing yards and defense couldn’t stop a nose bleed🤦🏻♂️of course Brady didn’t even play good and got bailed once again
And after this game he was never seen or heard from again I did not even know who jonas gray was before this game
