    Can we just talk about how Dante Stallworth was signed to be the #2 WR as well? He had off the field issues, but was a very talented and very fast WR. He was one of the very few guys at the time who had a legitimate challenge to Randy Moss as fastest WR/player in the league. They even talked about that in the Super Bowl media day.
    Dante didn't catch a lot of passes, with Brady throwing to Moss and Welker a lot, but that doesn't mean he didn't contribute and wasn't important. Defenses had to respect his speed on every play, which helped open Welker up even more underneath. When defenses slept on Stallworth, Brady found him and roasted teams for 15.2 yards per catch.

    • @erikpuka2627
      @erikpuka2627 Месяц назад +1

      1. Dante was way faster than Moss by 07. Moss of the Patriots ahd gotten heavy compared to Moss of rhe Vikings
      2. For whatever reason OC McDaniels didn't feature him often. They just spammed Welker. Its really a sign of an OC that doesn't know how to dial it up well. They overfed Welker 2007-2012. Donte ran either a go or a comeback. Rarely a crosser. It speaks to how uncreative McDaniels is
      Donte had everything. 2nd best Pats WR of the 2001-2019 era after Moss. A YAC machine. Just did not get features often.

    8:41 - Bill Belichick said he had never seen anything like that in his entire life, and how that was when Randy Moss taught him about football.
    To have a play start outside the numbers on the right side of the field, go deep for 51 yards and score a TD on the left sideline? Remember, not only is it 51 yard down field, but a football field is also 53 and a half yards wide. Randy ran almost 100 yards on that play. You don't draw up a defense to deal with that kind of speed and ability to cover ground. Your deep safety or CB on the opposite side isn't coached to key that player, and your guys can't be expected to literally cover from sideline to sideline like that.
    Do you want to know why people say Randy Moss changed the NFL? Look no further than this play.

    I would love to recommend a game to be shown on this channel, and that’s the Monday Night Football- Colts vs Panthers Week 8 2015 game. The game had both Luck and Newton in their primes, it was exciting to see both young QBs. I also remember the game was decided in Overtime, and was a class prime time thriller that no one talks about.
    I think that with Cam resigning with New England and Olsen and Thomas Davis retiring it would make sense to show a Panthers game during that wonderful 2015 season. It could maybe be called like “Luck and Newton Duel it out in Primetime” or something of that nature.

      @@CountryboyJr19 Nope. I am still salty at OBJ and the things he said about Eli. Go look up what he said. It wasn't so outwardly disrespectful, but Eli put himself out there for OBJ and OBJ spit in his face. Eli tried t help him. He tried to keep him cool. I'm glad he got his first ring, but he would still be ringless for the rest of his career if it weren't for being traded to the most stacked team in the league. That's an invalid ring for OBJ. I don't care what anyone argues either. To me, it's not a ring he got by loyalty and hard-fought wins with the Giants, but all around I get it. If Eli wanted to, he could've asked for a trade anywhere and he would've gone and probably even could've won an MVP. That's how great Eli really was. But because of a horrible O-line for 5 years after the SB years, he had nothing. Eli is top 15 all time in Passing TDs and yards. That's a Hall of Fame career. Capped off with 2 champs against the Tom Brady Patriots.
