      Haha, the pigeon..😄👍
Funny thing, I have a live pigeon, her name is Raqui, she is a very affectionate bird, and very loyal..I could imagine traveling with her to Canada, which is just over 30 miles away by land, and having an interesting conversation with customs...Haha They are an unappreciated animal, to know one personally rather than just experiencing a flock of "public pigeons" is an eye opening experience!
My interpersonal experiences afforded by respecting & acknowledging wildlife has reminded me to see the world from a new days eyes, not yesterday's tired eyes.. love and freedom abound where respect is understood and practiced. The world has become universally difficult and some places score higher on the "freedom and life value" spectrum than others, but the people of the world are [in the majority] good..imperfect but good..
Best wishes on your adventure! May you find the best of human nature!

That is hard if you know russian culture and women currently. I describe it with the words a girl from there told me: "You need to be stylish and have make up all the time. Even if you just go out to throw your garbage away. Because maybe you will meet your prince on his white horse and what shall he think of you?!"
So definitely it is hard for Natasha. I also quarreled with former girlfriend back thn, why so much make up needed. She was beautiful for me without and with make up just a complete different person. I prefer having a real person over a puppet.
Natasha, you are beautiful just as you are (natural) too. That is in my oppinion one lecture russian girls for sure need to learn. As well as Ukrainian girls learn it here in Germany now too, as they see that being stylish with much make up is something by far more unusual compared to russia and Ukraine.

100% While it is natural to want to look stylish and beautiful, there is no one person who can define style. It's all a game, like everything. You _are_ beautiful and you have your own style. Choose the games you want to play in, there are a lot of silly people playing silly games, where no one really wins. The shiny plastic people are often shallow and fake and actually nothing like the person they project. They are just caught up in a game and have to play their part. You only need to be the only person you can be. ;) You are already more than many plastic people can dream of being.

Some thoughts about being stylish: I work in a high rise office building where many people come to work in fancy suits. My company doesn't really have a dress code, so many of us come to work in what's comfortable...which for me is usually a hoodie and jeans. At first, I felt a bit embarrassed getting into the elevators with all these well dressed professionals. But now I see it as a privilege. I'm free to wear what I want and not spend ridiculous amounts of money on fancy suits. When they give me the side-eye in the elevator, I choose to believe it is because they are jealous of how comfortable I look. The moral of the story is...do what makes you feel comfortable, and don't worry about what other people think.

Once Ukraine - and even russia - truly move to a stable democratic society, I see a bright future, because just like the US a long time ago, people *fought* for a free society and liberal values and they endured hardships for it, so they'll be much more serious about the value it brings and participating in it.

Fashion is not about “fitting in” or dressing how others expect you to. It’s about finding clothes that you feel correctly express your personality and values.
