We have to keep a close eye on those in question the ones that will run first.and an emergency radio signal we can all heat when the comms go
I keep seeing the 29th as the day it all goes. Keep the eyes open but if comms go down this information cannot spread. To each his own at that point without a specific radio signal.
Plus now they can shoot video two weeks ago and present it live and no one will know at least a first

The best way to deal with something like this, if it happens, is to actively reduce the amount of impact the grid has on your life.
I see people spending an absolute fortune on things like freezers full of meat, for example, but then they have to spend way more just trying to keep it all safe to eat.
Look at alternatives that don't require such inputs.
Our home is well over 100 yo and still has the old technologies that work regardless of power. A wood stove for heating, cooking, boiling water and a nice cool cellar to keep supplies in are a couple of examples.
Keep some cash on hand and have physical copies of things like bank statements etc. Pay your bills a bit early so that you have some time if things go wrong. Keep vehicles topped up with fuel etc etc etc.
We can get firewood off our block, rainwater from our tanks, fruit/vegies from our garden and have back up sources as well.
We have plenty of camping gear as well so that a grid failure wouldn't be that much of an issue compared to how most would be affected.
What would terrify me the most will be hourds of desperate people coming to take what you have stocked up. I have a group that will be here on my farm when SHTF, but hourds of desperate people will still be bad.
@@user-gc9uj8hp7t I'm more worried about everyone around me in my apt complex that isn't paying attention. Esp if I wanted to grow food on the deck, it would be an instant target.

Yep, any TP run in the near future will be waaaay faster than 2020! Note on the sewer treatment plants. Like the water in the gravity fed storage tanks, it will continue to run for a while after loss of power...then it will abruptly stop. Depending on where you are elevation-wise, it may all come gushing up through your bathroom when your neighbour uphill flushes! It is best to identify your cleanout cap (backyard, front yard) and have that ready to remove if the power fails. Far better to have raw sewage ooze in your yard than your home. Have a bucket-plan, hospital beside commode, something, ready to go and be prepared to set up something outside under a tarp, etc. Nothing will ruin your 'fortress' where all your preps are stored, like raw sewage!
Oh, the water thing: we have standing orders around here that when the power goes out, the bathtubs get filled immediately. Most folks will continue to waste water by flushing toilets, etc, once the 'gravity-fed-when-it's-done-it's-done' clock starts ticking. I'm not a doomsday fear monger, but the sign of these current times leaves me a little flat...

Shut off the inlet line to your hotwater heater, and turn off the breaker and gas, if needed. You now have isolated a large tank of potable within your home. There's a spigot at the bottom of the tank.
What is a clean out cap on city water?
@synderela10 its not on the water supply line. It's on the sewer line from your home out to the city sewer line. Usually, near the outside of the foundation.
I do the same thing when I see lines starting to form at a gas station or stations...or when I am in a store and it's really busy and it seems out of the ordinary I immediately start looking at the news sites and RUclips on my phone.......

Yesterday the hubby's phone worked, mine didn't for 7 hours here in East Texas
Im very prepared and prepared to bug in....have a cabin and plenty of property to bug out....a small motorhome to travel between the 2 !......everything is well stocked ...food..fuel..and 4 means to create off grid power....off grid Comms..... I only put money in the bank to pay bills at the end of the month and leave only enough to keep the account open...... of course after 65 yrs walking this earth I might have forgotten something !!!
In contrast, around me here in CT, not A SINGLE person I know in real life has any clue anything is wrong, let alone ready for an 'event'.
I know I should leave, but it's easier said than done so far. It's still the plan anyway.

Sometimes the military will evacuate aircraft in advance of a hurricane. Ships will do the same so they can ride out the storm at sea rather than the docks. Also, during the Cuban Missile Crisis, the B-52 fleet was ordered dispersed to civilian airfields around the country.

Another red flag would be not being able to make calls on your phone despite having a decent signal. In the UK, the government can restrict usage of the mobile phone network in an emergency using the ACCOLC procedure. Not sure if the USA has a similar capability.
I know they’ve been overloaded in the past, resulting in something similar. I recorded the video before all the phone issues yesterday.

"...Anywhere near a military base." Remember that the Interstate Highway System is military infrastructure. Regular Civilian traffic will probably be excluded. If you live in a city that has an interstate loop, think about how few roads actually cross it, and whether those bridges and tunnels will be "disabled" to control the flow of the population and protect against attack.

If the grid goes down so does the city water. Fill jugs now, even cat litter jugs of water for the toilet flushing. Have a water filter of some kind for drinking water. We can’t live without water long maybe three days max. Stock up on canned goods, sleeping bags, and follow J.R.’s lists on his videos and stock up.
Jugs are going to last maybe few days. U will be horrified how much water u use.
The plumbings not working once the grid goes. Stop using a toilet. Use buckets and dump them in woods or a pit layered with sawdust or leaves.
Open ur clean out cap on ur yard so the sewage waste doesn’t go backing up into ur house.
Or get off the sewer and use a septic u keep cleaned out.
Another possible problem is i live in a county upstate N.Y. , there we have a very big factory and warehouse that producing & shipping aircraft parts to keep the military running , if one month there not hiring new people and a month later all of a sudden there immediately hiring new people & you know that within that last month no one was laid off or quite , that could maybe a sign that something is up , i'm not expert so i can be wrong but seems that could be a warming, anyways thanks for the video.

In my wondering of what this Great Tribulation is entailing, ( this term is found in Mt.24, et al., in Holy Scripture ) at this point in putting the pieces of horrible events coming down on the world, the Bible describes 2 entities who will endure this Great Tribulation. There are only 2 entities the Bible ever mentions... the saved and the lost, the true believer in Christ and the non-believer, the wheat and the tares, and so on. The Tribulation must effect both entities, while the true believers in Christ Jesus will have to contend with the false prophets and false christs as well also noted in Mt.24, et al. The Christian church is dissolving daily, and the true believers are commanded to vacate such corrupt establishments. My suspicion is somewhat enlightened by cyberattacks on countries in the Norther Hemisphere, where all the money is. Fear is the key element enveloping the people of this world, a fear down deep in the soul beyond physical hardship, the example of the Great Depression well describes. So your use of the term, "The point of no return" seems to me to be the way things are fast becoming here in 2024. Save your soul in Christ Jesus, not your goods.
@@patriciacole8773 All wrong, Patricia. All 4 Gospels in the Original text say the exact same doctrine that the Saturday Sabbath is changed by God to Sunday. I'll call upon Jn.20:1 but the remaining 3 Gospels concur by the Original language. For illustration, in the KJV we read, "The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early..." All wrong. The Original reads, "The first Sabbaton cometh Mary Magdalene early." "Sabbaton" is wrongly translated "week" and the word "day" was supplied by the translators and not in Holy Scripture in that passage. It's plain to see that the "first" Sabbaton has been on Sunday for the past 2000 years. There's more to it than this, which also witnesses that Saturday is justification by works of the Law while Sunday Sabbaton refers to justification by grace.
I would just advise everyone to repent get yourself together accept Jesus Christ and sit back and wait for the second coming 🙏🙏 as I said they keep restricting my account because I talk about GOD 🙏
@@vickigrayson4525 Off Topic. But you said "except" instead of "accept," so it seems. If you mean "accept Jesus," rather than "exclude Jesus," you're preaching a gospel of works saves you. Not so, Ro.8:28-30 and 10:20 for example. Salvation is *not* by the will of man, Jn.1:12,13. To "accept Jesus" as the way to salvation gives those so doing what they crave... the boast of the flesh and the intelligence others do not have.

Hi, i like the content. I've been researching long distance walkie talkies or ham radios. Do you have a recommendation for something where i can talk to family 10-15 miles away. I'm in the midwest, very flat, no mountains. I've seen dozens that say 37 miles, 100 miles and its not. Those reviews are horrible. When the cell towers go down i want to be able to reach out to family. Any thoughts? Thanks

When you look at history you find that we've been in some of the most stable and prosperous times in human history compared to pretty much any other quarter of a century you look at, at least in terms of things happening right in our own backyards.
In the 50 years between 1895 to 1945 there were 2 major pandemics, 2 World Wars and 2 major recessions, one the great depression.
Now with globalization and everything being so interconnected and reliant things can happen in our own backyards quite easily. Add in populations in many countries that really haven't experienced any real hardships and it could make for interesting times.
The prepping community is seeing the movement of a large scale conflict. I pray it is averted.
