This is insightful. When he says the Rosie’s don’t chuckle, on the coast range of Oregon sitting watching the harem, a few times I’ve never heard one chuckle either, but every other hunter with a bugle chuckles, then hops back in their truck and drives on. I’m new, to elk hunting so It’s important to watch this several times. All I know how to do is cow call.
I’d have to strongly disagree. I’m from western WA and I hear them chuckle just as much as I hear them bugle, Videos and all. Sometimes I don’t even bugle, just a chuckle to be different than everyone else.
@@coltonlengyel7845 I won't disagree with you, i've only heard bugles from what i know were bull Elk but you could have very well heard them chuckle where you hunt. Its possible the ones here in Oregon chuckle as well i've never heard them. Knowing the woods are so think leads people to think they don't bugle or chuckle. Have a good season!
By the time they start bugling in my area archery season is finished and the muzzleloader guys get to hunt. I have low confidence in calling elk, just doesn't seem to do any good.
I usto buy the order eliminated stuff but ya I naturally sweat a lot so now I just play the wind and I think smelling like dirt or what is around you is good .it is like camo for their nose
Would be fun to get a little series going with Roosie tactics
Roosies chuckle quite often. Sometimes that's all they will do....
