not addressing the Kody situation seems really odd. Not sure if he has some private stuff going on or what. But he hasn't been in a video or even Instagram post in quite some time. Would be nice to update us if he's at least okay. Everyone is aware of his absence.

Good work guys I’m happy you guys are getting it done. Me this season so far was getting in on them every day for the first week. Missed a spike at 65 yds then that same day shot a spike 40 yds perfect clipped a branch and deflected. Not Sure if I killed him looked for blood and arrow no blood no arrow. Sucks but that’s bow hunting. I will keep at it and not give up. Game of inches and seconds. Keep up the good work and God bless !

Tore my achilles in June so I’m forced to sit this season out. I’m tempted to grab a tag and sit in a ground blind but I know better. Looking forward to seeing these hunts when they drop.

@@davidmcmutrtey979 it’s tough man but it’s been a slow and steady recovery. I’m back in a normal shoe and walking but still have a ways to go. I’m hopeful to get out for rifle season at least!

I got close enough to smell them bedded in the thick stuff but they wouldn’t respond to calls. I didn’t go too crazy cuz I didn’t wanna call too much. Any pointers?

Boy, how id love to see them boys in the unit I hunted last 2 weeks…42 percent public land, 1100 tags. I’d really like to See if they could get a “ Double “ on opening weekend.. They might, they might not. Doubt it. Odfw has failed us, again.. To many cougars, that’s 1 issue. To many roads.. hard to get off the roads when it’s impossible. Thoughts? Anyone?

Cascades were a bit slow. We had one bull going a little, he only rubbed a little.
Just got back from my opening weekend hunt. Had some bulls bugling and a ton of other hunters lol.
Last week of August on the washington coast, seen a herd of elk, 3 legal bulls rutting hard chasing the cows around and screaming all night! Haven't got the gear to try archery yet, can't wait to get out there and give it a shot one of these days!

Same thing here in north Idaho. Almost got it done in the first hour. Got it done the next morning. Packed out two bulls first two days.
