Hey Captain, that wasn't a movie theater that was the Concorde roller skating rink. The Merben movie theater was down a little further between Englewood and Wellington if I remember correct... There was also a music store called Howard Herbert's and a guy named Jay Bruno taught me how to play the drums there.

That Flynn O'Hara Uniform Store used to be a Blockbuster Video. The third store front in from the corner was the two story McDonald's.

Originally from Mayfair..my dad's old area. That area was great at one time...lots of stores closed.
Mayfair used to be such a great place to live. Until the politicians made it a section 8. Wasteland. 😢.
Marilyn was with Joe D. in 1954 when she did the iconic skirt flying up.
The guys who use to own pizza city on Frankford ave John and Ron about a year ago sold the place and the pizza and quality of the food went downhill and just isn't as good as it used to be. I do like the fact that now take credit card and they still kept the hot ovens on the back of the delivery pickup truck.

There use to be a statue of a guy in his desert air force unform hugging his daughter on Frankford and cottman I wish they bringing it back. I absolutely love the marllyn Monroe statue. I had no idea it was there.

Grew up in Mayfair. Can you visit Haegele’s bakery and eat a sticky bun for me? 22:28 I live in Mass and miss German bakeries. I just miss Haegele’s so much..
I grew up and currently live in Mayfair. I go there once a week. Their donuts and sticky buns are still good as always so are their birthday cakes. Also there is an Italian bakery near fanshaw st. and Frankford next to dunking donuts. They make the best Italian bread, pizza, stromboli and canolies. I go there every Sunday to the Italian bakery after church.

12:14 have ya been to wildwood lately!? Its changed alot! Jus redid whole boardwalk looks nice and they redoing alot of the hotels soon the regulars aint gone be able to afford to go to wildwood unless ya made off and your family is no middle/upper or upper class and shit north wildwood beach is gone and don't look like they fillin it up again i dont blame em get washed away every year now
