They are beautiful videos. No frills or music cluttering the experience. I have never been and hope to one day. These videos make me feel as if I am there already.
I adore your videos. The quiet, natural sounds of the street are so relaxing. I can't travel now so it will be a long time before I make it back to Paris. Watching your videos is the next best thing. I feel like I'm really there!! Thanks so much.
WHO EVER DID THESE SERIES OF VIDEO IS DEFINITELY TUNED WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL CITY AND TUNED IN A SENSITIVE AND INTELLIGENT WAY. THE CAMERAS AND THE COMMENTS DOES DESCRIBE LIFE IN PARIS AS PARISIANS SEES THE CITY AND THEIR DAILY LIFE. WELL DONE...VERY WELL DONE !!!
Excellent video! We stayed in this neighborhood, on Rue Tournefort, last summer---and will return this summer--to a flat on Rue Descartes. I love the area, the ambiance....a little gritty, but very Parisian. Thank you for sharing!
Great video, editing and humour. Haven't lived in Paris since '86 and this brings back so many memories. Leaving for Paris in two weeks. TY for the wonderful route to follow! Merci beaucoup de Toronto.
Your videos are as direct and strong as Les Freres Lumieres or Atget photos. They remind me of the Robert Frost line "Anything more than the truth would have seemed too weak". Thank you.
I miss that little street so much. I stay on or near it every year ( except this one because France won't let me in the country). Wish you had stopped and turned the camera towards the interior of Verre A Pied, my favorite little family owned place. It's so charming. And I don't think I saw Dose. Otherwise, you got it all. Thank you.
Great to see this- thank you so much for posting! I haven't been in Le Mouff since 2002, but it's good to see some things haven't changed. The Cinema L'Epee du Bois, the L'Arbe de Voyageur bookstore, even the raclette restaurant are still there. However- Subway?! Arrrrgh- what an excrescence!
wow, this was so good, I've been to the Pathelon and didn't see any of this, that's the trouble when you do the tourisy thing. that same morning we fitted in Jim Morison grave and Notre Dam
Great videos. I have watched them all multiple times and I see something new every time. Would be really cool if you pronounced the name each time you put the title up. I am driving the lady at the French Embassy here crazy pronouncing the names for me. Keep them coming!
My old area where I grew up,not knowing in those days(60’s),that it would become one of the most expensive in Paris! The shops in rue Mouffetard have changed a lot and very sadly not for the better.....!
@moofushu You're right. Several scenes were filmed on this street. One was a scene in a phone booth on the rue Clovis, which isn't seen in the video (it was on the intersection seen in the distance at about 3:10 in this video). The other was at the Verre à Pied restaurant, which you can see in this video on the right at about 10:40 (green facade with some people sitting in front).
@TheFraigo I try to make videos for two groups: People who have never been to these places in Paris, and people who have. In both cases, just a simple documentary video seems to work best, and memories (or dreams, for those who haven't been here yet) do the rest.
Thanks again for another walk through my favorite city!. Perhaps you could walk along the Rue Saint Antoine or Boulevard Henri IV, s'il vous plait? Merci!
I do have a gadget that stabilizes the camera quite well, but I rarely use it because it attracts too much unwanted attention. This video, like most of my videos, was shot using just the built-in optical stabilization in the camera, which works pretty good but isn't perfect.
Thank you so much for this excellent video which took me very close to a hotel I have stayed at several times. St. Medard church was very close to that hotel. Metro line #7 was the line I used frequently from Gobelin Station. All of your videos are excellent and some of your captions are rather humorous too.
So beautiful and perfect editing job ! Do you really use only the stabilization built into the camera ? Looks like using a Steadicam with your camera. :-)
there is a hostel called the young and happy on this street it is not the cleanest or m ost most hostel but it is close to amazing food and very safe for Paris standars
We wee there in, I think, 2011, 8th Ard. Man, I love Paris. We did the trip all on our own, via the Internet. Stayed at the 7th Ifiel Hotel, near the Le Infidels house (sorry, my memory and French are horrible). Anyway, if I had to escape, it would be Paris or southern Italy (another post). Cheers!!!
Dear Mx., Are you gay? Because this rue Mouffe video is great ! You've got a weighted camera device to stop the horrid bumping from your footsteps and other jerky movements, so common in casual photographers. . Thanks for posting. .. Cheers. from, del-boy.
It's possible to squeak by in Paris with just English (like Emily in Paris on Netflix), but it's obviously a much nicer experience if you learn some of the local language.

Bonjour ! Merci !
I adore your videos. The quiet, natural sounds of the street are so relaxing. I can't travel now so it will be a long time before I make it back to Paris. Watching your videos is the next best thing. I feel like I'm really there!! Thanks so much.

Many thanks for your wonderfulvideo.
This makes me so happy! My first trip to Paris, stayed in Rue Moufftard. Returned many times. If I could, would live in Paris
This is one of your best videos, in some way they are educational, watching them you can learn so much of the Paris culture. Thank you
Video est genial...filmed with great passion. I'm a Paris.....😘🙏 merci beaucoup

I just ran across your video and I have to say it's one of the Best that I have EVER SEEN . Thank You So Much Looking for others that you have done .
Oh God! I miss rue Mouffetard (from a former Parisian who has been living in the US for more than 40 years).
Thanks for the video...will be visiting this place in October
I like these videos very much. Thank you.

OMG... brings me more than I was xpecting from Paris...which is wonderful.
Très beau reportage. Merci.
Very Good Video !!!!!

I agree with you. Those poulet looked damn good!!!
The stabilization is just the stabilization built into the camera (a consumer-grade Sony Handycam).
Well then friend, you have a steady hand. Thanks for sharing... Brought back memories of my time there.

It's impressive, and it's one of my favourite Paris streets!

Amei! Me senti tão presente nestes lugares...!
Thanks again for another walk through my favorite city!. Perhaps you could walk along the Rue Saint Antoine or Boulevard Henri IV, s'il vous plait?
Merci!
very good video ,from Argentina Joseph
@Spartan01117: I no longer have the dailies, but as I recall it was shot mostly late in the summer of 2011, around August/September.
It was just a little Sony Handycam. Thanks for the compliments.
Excellent! Thanks!

A great video.

J'adore la rue mouffetard 😍
This is soooo cool!!!!
@jeffmings I'll add them to my list of streets to stroll upon. The rue Saint Antoine was already on the list, actually.
Great video. Thanks:)
I think I've seen some of these places in the movie "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain." :)
I used to go frequently to the bookstore at 6:59. :-)
+Steven Leslie Ha ha, and I hate to admit, but also the bar at 9:30.
+Steven Leslie L'Arbe de Voyageur.
Highgate Angel I thought it was called Student Bar or something like that.
Nope - L'Arbe du Voyageur. Student bar is a... student bar lol
Oh, the bookstore you mean. :-)
Could you tell me what kind of camera did you used it, please???. Nice video

Perfeito!Obrigado!
Was this recorded in Fall? Because it looks like spring

It's good shot.

the real amazing street is rue du pot-de-fer which is perpendicular to rue Mouffetard, just goes there and head to La Montagne Sans Geneviève
It appears in the video but for only a few seconds.
Merci beaucoup!
LA RUE MOUFFETARD EST UNE DE MES RUES PREFEREES AU PRINTEMPS ET EN ETE
Falafel is delicious!
Ugh, Subway. @6:02. I wish they would stick to malls and shopping centers. But very good vid.

Dejligt gensyn med Rue Muffetard - stikker derned juni 2013
Tex-Mex? Yuk!
Hopefully not. Let's hope it's original.

A nicely unhurried video.
I've been watching and enjoying your videos for some time now, and something funny struck me. All along I've assumed you are a man since the steady probing nature of your videos have the feel of a male presence. However, I realize you could well be a woman. So, are you male or female?
it looks like a village not a city, nothing attractive!
poor video quality
I can’t stand to see all these hijab in Paris
Svp, monsieur, seriez-vous me renseigner la rue Mouftard ?!
A vos souhait !!!
