This game is no longer about duelists creating a specific archetype in many decks. Now I see many cards from different archetypes all over the place every time I start a duel in ranked

Yes I agree duelists like to add common staples to help in their decks but damn you first see a card like dark magician on the field next thing out of nowhere you see them summon cards like kashtira to join it. Along with other cards that are often used for other archetypes. I know there’s no rule to rely on one archetype once you make a deck but in order to win, duelists like to combine common floodgates with over powered monsters to possibly let them win in less than 5 turns or heck even in one turn before even allowing the opponent to play in turn two.
I would rather lose to this and not to play against any floodgate / negate board

Good to know Edo's boss monster is only useful in decks outside of its archetype. The card badly needs an errata that treats it as a Destiny Hero monster.
Agreed. Sadly unless u are elemental hero every other hero archetype will be nothing more than engine piece. Destiny hero and vision hero aren't even their own standalone deck just engine only because the vast majority of their cards are lackluster and haven't kept up with the modern era
@@CelestialDeathscythe Yes, one of my people. I've been trying to get a destiny hero oriented deck to work since the beginning of master duel but its really just brick city with how many dead D-Heros there are. To make destiny draw even worth playing, u gotta play even more bricks which could lead u to draw the other bricks.
The best I could come up with is the Dominance + Dreadmaster combo which summons dreadmaster during opp's turn for indestructible D-hero field but its not consistent to set up & almost requires a fusion destiny in hand to get it started.
@@CelestialDeathscythe Hell, even at the time most Destiny Heroes were total ass; Diamond Dude and Malicious are the only OG DHeroes that saw any sort of actual play worth mentioning, with Dasher being a one-of just in case it let you bring back a Dark Magician of Chaos alongside Doom Lord and Fearmonger being one-ofs as well, the latter as an excellent Allure of Darkness banish and the latter to bring back Disk Commander, about the only reason any of those were played in the first place. When Disk Commander got banned, anything outside of Mali got thrown into bulk, rarely to be seen again.

The vast majority of destiny heroes could be viable if u take away the disadvantages, cards like blademaster,double dude,dunker,captain tenacious,defender,d-spirit. Give us stuff have more ATK and is restrictly for destiny hero usage only. I'm fed up of hero cards being released and it is elemental hero /neos support for fuck sakes. It aint funny watching every good card destiny heroes have suddenly find themselves in every deck making a case for them to be banned or do semi to unbanned dance that malicious does every other yr. Destiny heroes were my very 1st archetype as a child collected them all in max rarity, lost my collection due to theft and finally now in my early 30s was able work hard and build back that collection. I just want them to be good enough,not like tournament winning just good enough that I can say I'm playing a destiny hero deck and not a chimera jigsaw puzzle. Also can this game start to introduce choice restriction like in cardfight vanguard anything stop our good destiny hero support from being abused in crazy ftks and decks

Its sad but this game has being dying since pendulums release i stop playing since their release but its not fun anymore and has we Portuguese say its getting worse
The real ogs know it's literally a kids game for grown adults now. No real creativity just make sure your opponent can't play and you beat them before they can. Konami ruined the game and just keeps at it

@@saggittariusdias2521 sadly it's what made me stop playing most games. I love competition, but I'm not trying to have a migraine every game when you want the fun occasional chill and relax day. I definitely get it.

@@saggittariusdias2521 I still play a bit of MD but getting stunned or locked out cause you going second and run like 12-18 hand traps and still don't draw any does not encourage you to play the game for sure 😅 why I watch these videos to see what I'm doing wrong
