Absolutely love my new Multi 230, so quick to set up and such a pleasure to weld with. Only wish I had waited a little longer so I could have got the new bundle with bonus helmet.
Guys put short ads on that can't skip. That was really helpful and makes me want this machine more. Why not get abit of extra coin. My old unimig built the works. Bulletproof.
Used mine for the first time today, holeeeyyyyyyy there are some settings as seen here in the vid, good machine so far though keen to explore more of what it can do
Does that mean to tig weld aluminium thr AC/DC mix should be set to 80% ? I am having trouble with alloy on this just by using the smart tig settings. Cheers
Should I be getting a e13 code when I flick the power switch off?? Have it plugged straight into a wall socket and tryed multiple, have not set any settings or used for any welding yet, set to 10amp mode also??
I'm struggling to decide between your new TIG 200 AC/DC & the 230 Multi on the TIG features as in some respects the 230 Multi seems equivalent. Does the 230 Multi have TIG Lift Arc & is it correct that the 200 AC/DC can TIG weld more material types versus the 230 Multi?
Hi there, the 230 Mutli AC/DC does have Lift TIG function you can select it in the main menu. In terms of the material type both machines can TIG weld the same materials.
Not necessarily, the 230 actually has more features such as independent waveform selection & higher amperage (230 Amps @ 35% duty cycle). The advantage of the Razor 200 AC/DC is it can run off a 10 amp plug, is smaller & can take a water-cooler for liquid cooling tig torches.@@draincctv8659
"Wave form must be on DC to do AC weld". Please clarify that part for me. I thought it should be on those other ac wave forms beside dc wave form to do AC welding.
Yes. from their advert: "Going off the grid? The RAZOR MULTI 230 AC/DC can be connected to a generator, we recommend one with at least an 8.5kVA rating for 10A mode, 10kVA for 15A mode"
Is there anyone out there that understands the 20,000 different settings and would know how to adjust any of them to improve your weld, this machine is insane, and quite seriously too bloody complicated. !!!!

Hi Adam, we don't put any ads this is done by RUclips themselves this is out of our control.
Well you sold me, I will be grabbing one of these asap. It makes my 20yr old mig look like a dinosaur

Hi Daniel. yes this is normal to have this error code pop-up. E13 means under-voltage which is normal when switching the power off.
Thank fuck for that lmao, I was also worried but just ignored it@@unimigsupport

Thanks for the reply. One last question - is the TIG 200 AC/DC a better TIG machine & if so why is that? Cheers.@@unimigsupport

Did you find out what he means?
Please upload how to setup for aluminium weld on the new 165 viper
When can we get a new video for a setup guide on the new razor 200 ac/dc tig welder?
Hi Aaron, this is what the media team is working on currently it will be out soon!
Are these able to run off a generator?
Yes. from their advert:

@@JustinShaedo thanks, I had just bought one and that was the only thing I failed to check. 👍
@@complexedmind5739 nice! I'm thinking of getting one too. Hope you get some great welds out of yours!
Got some knowledge to share bro, we ain't enemies my friend.
Yes, if it's 8.5kVA capable.
Just got mine, omg 😮 beautiful machine, never thought ild ssy that Haha 😅
If I understood the comments correctly, the 4in1 230 does not support water cooled tig torches...is that right?
That is a personal choice. You can order an aftermarket CK worldwide torch and water cooler setup with a switched outlet.
Amazing machine! Over the moon with it. How do you delete saved weld settings?
Nevermind, I've worked it out.
👍
