Early development
In 2015, after Total War: Warhammer was announced but before it released, Creative Assembly announced that they planned to create a trilogy of Total War: Warhammer games.[1]
In 2016, Russian data-miners discovered plans in the Total War: Warhammer game files for a third game featuring Khorne, Nurgle, Tzeentch and Slaanesh as factions.

Total War: Warhammer is part of Creative Assembly's grand strategy Total War series. Set in the grim, high fantasy world of Warhammer Fantasy, Total War: Warhammer pits many unique races in a struggle for domination of the Old World. Soldiers clash with magic and monsters, as factions are locked in battle. But beyond this conflict lurks a larger threat: The forces of Chaos descend from the north to bring ruin and destruction, at the behest of their dark gods.
Total War: Warhammer II takes the battle to the New World across the sea, where new races fight to enact rituals and control the Great Vortex. Total War: Warhammer II is a standalone game, fully playable on its own. However, players who own the first game or DLC will find that it carries over and can be combined with the second game, for one epic experience in campaign and multiplayer among us.
Both games can be purchased in

lil dude waited till the last minute (it was an epic prank)
Tamurkhan: Crush Nuln!
Kayzk: Raze it!
Khargan: Destroy it!
Ezar: Bombard it!
Sayl: Guys.... Nuln would be that way.
The rest: .....NULN!
I understood that reference !
Must be read in James Wood's voice
Best Hercules reference I've ever heard!
I love this two wondering ogres that always appears in weird locations and asking about 'Where we at'
I DUNNO
Maneater lore
Please keep this gag going
@@MagicHjalti Google wants to translate your sentence "to English" 😂
" Mate where the duck we at "
" I don't Know "
It's even funnier if u know that he waited there multible days before he found out.
so most of the video are actually not parody.
@@Dayz3O6 none of them are parody and that's the best thing about this channel
Oh well even his buddy ogres are in the Empire for a first time. A rare thing even for Ogres
Aren't Imperial Ogres a thing?
@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 I mean it as Orge are a common sight in Empire it's really rare to see Orge not known Empire lol
There are lots of Ogre’s in the world, I doubt it’s any more rare than a human not having visited one of the big Imperial cities like Nuln or Altdorph.
@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 The Maneaters usually are smart enough not to serve chaos, they get better rewards from fighting them XD
Tamurkhan: *SAYL YOU. HAVE. ONE. JOB*
Sayl was probably busy trolling in the background.
He ain't called the faithless for nothing.
I love the way whenever Tamurkhan does anything cool in these videos, the music from trailer plays like he's got his own personal theme music being played full blast by a full brass band of Chaos Dwarfs following him everywhere. Inhabiting the body of that Slaanesh Champion didn't do any good for Tamur's ego. Lol.
Well if you had your own metal theme song, wouldn't you play it, in your mind or in your phone, whenever doing something cool and badass? I would lol
This is so true to the lore of the Throne of Chaos book. Unfortunately there is one problem here:
Tamurkhan in the book has the excuse of not knowing where Nuln is as all cities probably look the same to the hordes of Chaos. Total war Warhammer 3 Tamurkhan can't use that excuse since he had to go thru the campaign map where each city has it's name on it.
So what you're saying is, to be lore accurate, Tamurkhan shouldn't be able to see the names of provinces and cities?
@@alexanderticonuwu7591 No, he is saying that players palying Tamurkhan's campaign shouldn't make the same mistake as the real ( lore ) khan made like in the video.
@@BoltDave-lk3dk I was making a joke about how Tamurkhan players shouldn't see the names in maps specifically so they make the exact same mistake
@@alexanderticonuwu7591 that would be a good idea if there was a campaign that follows the Throne of chaos book like historical battles. That or give the players cataracts so they can't see Nuln before Pfieldorf.
@@Xelatheshep Kinda wish they'd make smaller campaigns based off stuff like books. A smaller map with a more focused objective just for fun. Imagine one where you have to play a Border Prince in a custom map.
My favourite part of Tamurbull saga was when he started agressively beating his ogre mace and screamed "I'm Tamurkhan". Absolute Warhammer classic.
To be fair Nuln was also sacked 100 years ago, so both places were pretty much rebuilt by this time
Next, Tamurkhan arrived Stirland.
He died.
From food poison
Or the window garlic.
@@dtly50 But Ogres love garlic :)

@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 Whoops!
Nice
The prefect representation of chaos and especcially beastmen
Massive hype up, "dark gods bear witness", absolutely none of them care 'cause the massive victory is entirely inconseguential
And then they get swept over by a response army
When Sayl said Pfeildorf, Tamurkhan screamed so loudly he ruptured the vocal chords of his ogre body.
I was expecting Nurgle to simply be asleep and not even notice Tamurkhan.
This is why you get some local guides for local chaos cult. Not the skaven though, those tunnel delvers barely know what the sun is.
Sayl actually was his guide, he just didn't say anything until after Tamurkhan sacked the wrong city and he was smirking when he did.
Tamurkhan should have gotten that pigeon gps, it would have told him where to go.
Meanwhile his father in the afterlife: you have brought dishonor to our nation you are a disgrace my son
Tarmukhan: 💀
Nurgle is his true father. His birth father gave him up for selfish material gain.
I blame skaven named thanquol for this trickery as he is only one allowed to sack nuln
The Empire: You know, should we be worried about that massive Chaos army down there?
Karl: I'm more worried about the Vampire Counts and Kislev taking half of the nation to be honest. I'll send Boris Todbringer there. Maybe I can convince him that they're rats in disguise.
Skaven: Shit-poo, human knows.
When I listened to his lore via Inept General I got a good laugh from this part. Like it’s so corny but fits so well.
Searching for a guide of the empire contact by Toad dragon or Nurgle pray.
Pfeildorf just doesn't feel the same with Balthazar Gelt gone on a foreign student exchange
It is really sad to see all that enthusiasm just vanish after that shocking discovery :(
Its nice to see those two Ogres that followed they're chief for so long still alive and hmmmmm well I guess? :)
The two wandering Ogres still have know idea where they are at.
I half expected to actually be Nuln but there was no Empire there, instead just a Skaven undercity with a Doomsphere that would just explode killing Tamurkhan and all the forces there as Ikit and Elspeth laugh maniacally together in the distance.
You should do a video on the fact that, during Tamurkhan's long march to the south and while dealing with some religious Nurgle stuff, a large amount of Tamurkhan's army died from... thirst. Like, not from battles, not from magic, not even from the punishment of the Chaos Gods, they just couldn't find any wells or rivers and just died anticlimactically of thirst or hunger. Maybe include a cameo from Repanse who has water supplies while everyone else is thirsty.
Or that Sayl lead an attack the tower of Ashshair then sit back the whole fight and watched a comet annihilate all his allies.
Tamurkhan did a silly, what an adorable guy
Speaking of Nuln, I wonder if the end of Beasts in Velvet was fairly soon before Skavenslayer, it would explain why Emmanuelle was so almost suicidally brave against Thanquol. (Please don't spoil Beasts in Velvet in meme form, it's one of the few great twists in Warhammer, the fact that wikis kept the ending secret back when I read it was really good)
Again and again, Tarriff is the Best Warhammer Lore channel
Sayl is mad that CA didnt put him in the game as a cheiftain so hes being passive aggressive. Tbh he should have been one of the caster cheftians maybe instead of the Femir guy as Sayl giving Tamurkhan Femir could have still made sense.
Why Tamurkhan did not met any resistance when he attack Pfieldorf? Because 100% of its citizens its currently in Grand Cathay doing fortunate son vibes
Tarriff, I have an idea, you should write your own episode about what Gotrek and Felix did during the war against Tamurkhan. It would be epic if Gotrek were the one to kill the Toad Dragon, or if Gotrek and Felix were inside Pfeildorf with the army that defended it and were forced to retreat to Nuln, or if they were on board of Landships that went to destory the Chaos Dwarf engines.
you'll find that in the Thrones of Chaos Full movie
I could see them being on the Land Ships, but his Toad Dragon needs to survive until the end because Tamurkhan sacrifices it himself to start a Daemon summoning ritual after his army is mostly routed.
and thats how tamurkhan actually became a khorne legendary lord (god of violence and bloodlust)
1:38 two british big blokes just confused where they at after landing their ship on different land lol
Here is a video idea:
In your video "Old World Geographic - Solland, and its NEW Elector Count, Balthasar Gelt" the primary joke was there one person. The new "Electoral Machinations" system for Karl Franz allows him to create population through "Open the Gates." Maybe this is why Gelt left?
And this is why khorn is better he doesn’t care about big city’s he just wants skulls and blood
I think he would have replied by "its just to fucking funny to see ya all doing this in the wrong direction" or "I didnt had the heart to stop you" :D
Would have been cool if after taking Nuln and doing his quest he turns into a giant fly or maggot daemon prince
Perhaps with him fused to his toad dragon to add to the maggot look
The Empire is vast!
It has thick forest.
Well, 100 years is enough time to rebuild a city both in population and structure. But of course, Nuln is still Nuln
Tariff turning into a lore channel is actually fucking incredible. There's so much potential here
funny enough there is a story about a viking raider who bragged he would sack Rome. One boat trip later he arrived to largest city he had ever seen with walls taller than he had ever heard about, he realized he couldn't take the city normally so he hatched a plan to get inside by pretending to be dead and wanting to be given christian funeral rites. The plan goes off without a hitch after 3 days of pretending to be dead he opens the casket at his 'funeral'. Him and his 'mourners' ransack the city, it isn't until they are on there way back with the loot that one of the prisoners tells them they attacked the city of Luna (now Luni) not Rome.
Love the 2 wandering ogres. 1 day they'll meet Gotrek and felix
Okay, I love Sayl, I gotta try him out for a campaign. 🤣
Gw robbed us of the inevitable Sayl reveal as the second brother
Kayzk the Befouled didn’t even joined chat, the chieftain must know his master well.
We need a whole fucking film about Tamurkhan invading Nuln
There will be someday
Just to inform, Sayl model is actually a real mod called "Tribes of the north" and gives Norsca many factions to play with: Sayl can spend God's favour for chosen units for example.
Very good mod, try it out :)
1:19 this frame is so cursed
Pfeildorf... Whatever happened there...
The parts with Sayl made me chuckle.
I mean, he's a tzeentch mage. Expecting them to not screw you over is like expecting Stirland to not serve you disgusting food.
He is undivided
Karaka Breakmountains wacky adventure
Pfeildorf is deserted because Gelt travelled to -Vietnam- Cathay :]
Coincidentally, in my campaign, they were the two who clashed the most (from either POV)
I think that it will be more likely for tamurkhan to give stirland to the nurgle instead of giving nuln to the nurgle.
1:20 xDD
Worse part is, I think Sayl was one of the few to get away when Tamurkhan lost... If I remembers right...
He was, he's also revealed to be the narrator of the book once it's over.
Anyone else disappointed Sayl wasn’t one of the unique chieftains you could recruit?
At least he didn't offer Wurtbad to Nurgle because even Nurgle wouldn't stand for it
In reality, Sayl discovered that this city wasn't Nuln just looking to a coin wich literally had written "Pseildorf"... Thamurkhan then fall to depression until an asassin tried to kill him
You'll see that part in the full thrones of chaos movie
Those Ogres are becoming renowned explorers. At least for an Ogre.
Too bad they have no idea where they've been...
I'd love to see them draw a map to explain to other Ogres 😂
I DUNNOOOO
Using the tribes of norsca mod eh ?
Awsome !!!
Poor Tamurkhan, he destroyed the wrong city because he literally couldn't read Reikspeil (not even a joke).
End of times never happened !
He got the wrong city.
Geography without gps, Warhammer fantasy most cunning villain
Brother. We need a new ork clip with the sound of Duran Duran - wild boys and with the new Grimgork meta of farming Tamurkhan untill you have a full army of heros. If you make it happen, I will subscribe.
I ❤Tarriff 😊
BIG WOPSIE
wrong city lol
This actually happened
Should do a few videos on outdated dlcs, such as Markus's campaign, everything in it is bad for the long term in immortal empires and his combat stats are bad too
1:50 Тарифф-Братан, если ты наш слоняра, сделай часовую версию Тамурхана пиздящего Сайла, или лайвстрЕм как Lo-fi🌚🌚🌚🌚
oh, i mean Tariff-Bro, if you are our elephant, make an hour-long version of Tamurkhan kicking Sayle, or livestream version like Lo-fi :D
C A N O N
Sooooo.... this is also cannon... right?
Yes, and thanks to this attack Nuln learned that a Chaos army was coming from the south
Yes, it's in the Throne of Chaos book.
Free Nuln!
Love the ogres
The ogres are coming hide the maps change the signs put up welcome to nuil scarecrows;;mahhahaah - the where the The Hekawi tribe;3
Faildorf
Too bad it's not stirland
Magnus did nothing wrong 😂
Sayl will be a douchebag faction with hilarious mechanics once he gets into the game.
