How to turn on night Vision mode?

I've just bought the SC069HA which appears to be exactly the same except 4MP. There is nothing about powering this. Surely it doesn't have to be plugged in where it is - but mine stops working when I unplug it. I figured you unscrew it and charge up every so often (like the 2mp one), otherwise a "visitor" would simply unplug it! Can someone please explain? There's nothing in the booklet about powering.

Is there a version that sits in the ceiling rather than a wall? I want one for my front entrance. There is currently a wired downlight/pot light there.
