Great vid! I had a few glitches I wanna share if anyone else has them. For Mame it would crash immediately. I fixed it by using the command line to run mame.exe -cc from the mame install folder to make a mame.ini file than for video settings in the ini I changed it from auto to opengl. Retroarch everything was running slow. I went into the Retroarch install folder and ran it from there, changed video output to vulkan, screen refresh rate to 60 and turned off automatic refresh.
I won't take this mans money 😂 but I can give you some clues. Launchbox is naturally portable, nothing important is stored outside of its folder. Meaning it'll keep its settings no matter what drive it's in, or PC it's put on. Meaning you're probably going to want to follow the first part of this guide and make sure everything is self contained in your launchbox folder. The part that can catch you is a lot of standalone emulators don't default to portable mode or have out of the box options to do it, so any emulator you load into launchbox you will need to figure out how to set them to portable mode so all their settings are also self contained in their folders. Unfortunately it can be different for every emulator.
Launch box has everything you need but the only thing is missing is a 3d arcade fps walk through experience like 3d arcade now I’m wondering would it be possible to have that on launch box as an option since they already support 3d models 😅
I have a question, can I install launchobox on my steam deck? And could it also be translated into my Spanish language? And do I have to be connected to the internet to be able to use launchobox?
Tengo una pregunta, puedo instalar launchobox en mi steam deck? Y será que también se puede traducir a mi idioma español? Y tengo que estar conectado a internet para poder usar launchobox?

I'm not sure you should "save core" on saving your presets, it's usually better to "select directory". That way if you have 2 different platforms using the same core, you can have them each look different. Especially when you get into the Nintendo stuff

do you have a tutorial on how to put launchbox on a flash drive? If not, would you be willing to create a video on that particular setup?

This is probably a dumb question, but can you take what you do with your RetroArch builds and apply it (mostly) to your LaunchBox builds?
Yes. Just incorporate it all into Launchbox when adding your cores.
@@JustJamie1983 beautiful. Appreciate the quick response. Love your videos by the way
@ajosborn81 that's fine. Thanks
What about if we're using Deepin. Does Launchbox support distros?
Random question, but do you have any tips on how to convert hyperspin game themes into mp4 to use with launchbox?

@valenciamurillo7806 you can you use Lutris on Steam OS to use Launchbox. You need to be connected for it to download metadata etc.
@@JustJamie1983 What I mean, after having downloaded everything and having done all the steps to install launchbox, will I be able to play afterwards without needing to be connected to the internet?
@valenciamurillo7806 nope. To play. Being offline will be fine.
