@@ПетрПетрошвиллер what did he do wrong? I'm assuming the fast arpeggios where his finger kinda curl the pick back and forth?...I can't do that, but it seems to work for him
If I remember correctly I just use a normal clean sound with some reverb, but its played along with the acoustic from the original so it sounds like an effect.
What's the tuning? Where did you learn the song? Want to start learning how to play opeth to improve my playing but It's tough to see the exact "how tos" cause I don't have the aptitude to really catch it by ear.
It's in drop D (DADGBE). I've been using an Opeth guitar book (The best of Opeth) and using this video slowed down to figure out the exact technique and rythmn. Its a bloody hard song to learn!
@@mrbadger9364 Thanks! Not a really skilled player yet, so it May take me a really long while before i can play even the 1st riff to this, but I want to become good
@@mrbadger9364 it's not that hard man, compared to ghost reveries and deliverance songs, which personally I think aren't that hard compared to other bands
Very interesting picking technique!
Yeahhh! His right hand looks so relaxed too!
Very bad picking techique. But there is enough for this song, sound best!
@@ПетрПетрошвиллер If you can make it sound good and work it's not bad.
