      If I remember correctly I just use a normal clean sound with some reverb, but its played along with the acoustic from the original so it sounds like an effect.

    What's the tuning? Where did you learn the song? Want to start learning how to play opeth to improve my playing but It's tough to see the exact "how tos" cause I don't have the aptitude to really catch it by ear.

      It's in drop D (DADGBE). I've been using an Opeth guitar book (The best of Opeth) and using this video slowed down to figure out the exact technique and rythmn. Its a bloody hard song to learn!
