This album was such a breath of fresh air when it came out, especially after the lackluster Roll The Bones. Guitar, Bass, and Drums. Get it back to basics. Hell yeah!
I was 19 when Counterparts came out… and really my first new album as a proper Rush fan. This was an awesome 30 year reflection on this “new” Rush album.
The real deal. These days, artists just record with a cell phone. I think that is good, because their artistry is either there, or it is not. Nothing to hide behind when the talent is not there. Tory Slusher is a good example of what I am talking about.

I remember waiting to hear this interview when I was teenager, I listened to it in my bedroom and it was amazing, what a wonderful time in my life
