    I crocheted a set from this. I just did 2 round peices for 1 pot holder and single crochet them together before doing the fringe. Turned out supper thick and beautiful! 💖 thank you!

      Amy that is what I’m doing. I haven’t done the border yet! We were both thinking the same way. I might add one more round for future ones!

    I am terrible at sewing and very sloppy, but LOVE the idea of having the padding on the pot holder. I think I might try this, except, I won't sew the padding to the back of the crochet part, but instead make a second crochet circle and trap the padding (probably sloppily sewn together) in the middle by slip stitching them together.

    Hi Crystal love your video. I have a suggestion for you. Why don't you learn how to whip stitch, that would save you some time. You wouldn't have to go back and forth all the time

    • @jaybeecee1949
      @jaybeecee1949 5 лет назад

      Whip stitch is not a very nice finish. Try mattress stitch; no crocheters seem to know how to do it.

      Never mind---mattress stitch is for seams--my bad.

    Do you actually use these as hot pads? it seems like you would burn yourself from the slits in the pattern.
