@@mr9293 It is, up to a point. There's only so fast you can travel no matter how much mass you have.
According to the physics of Pym canon, the guy in the Pym suit retains his mass while his volume changes. A person hits peak velocity after falling 1500 feet- in the Pym suit a person would reach peak velocity in less distance because less volume would mean less wind resistance. Since this fall is clearly over 1500 there would be no difference- he'd hit the ground with the same force, suit or no suit.
@@lynxminx4 judgin by some action scenes it seems like his mass also changes. How can a little ant lift a man's weight? And also the scene in the final battle of the Endgame - he is big and destroys chitauri with a damage that is impossible to be caused by a regular weight human.
@@lynxminx4 In MCU, it seems that the Pym suit affects mass, but somehow the suit retains it's user's strength even in it's miniature state (according to Hope).
His Giant state on the other hand enhanced his strength proportional to his size.

It's faster and less dangerous given Scott's lack off experience.
I love these movies, nothing negative toward the others, but it has a lighter, comedic feel to it that is a nice break after the more serious tones of the other MCU movies.

It's 10 seconds so theres an even great sense of urgency for the character which in turn grabs the attention of the audience

The one thing I don't get about all this, is how necessary it all is.
Hank could literally just show up and go "That's my house, my property. I hired this man to test some security."
This just kind of makes it seem like Hank is trying to trap Scott more than anything else.

The only people in the MCU who can change that quick is Thor, Loki, Hulk, Iron Man (nano-tech), Black Panther (nano-tech) and maybe Doctor Strange.
