Because this is Ant-Man's movie and Scott was already sidelined so much in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Hope was practically the lead in the second movie, which was fine but wouldn't be great if Quantumania was the same.
Wise man. He used to protect his daughter from harm's way by keeping HER away from the dangers itself. Now he's giving the suit to her so that SHE can protect herself anytime, especially when the father is not around. He won't always be there to protect her and is getting older.
She has all the "safe" upgrades. Ant-man has the experimental one which is giant man. It plays into their character as Hope is the heiress, but is still protected from the harmful side effects of by her parents' design. Scott is more willing to use himself as a sacrificial piece so his suit is intentionally less capable in addition having a function that allows him to serve as a decoy and cause as much damage as possible.
I honestly don't see it. They made wasp just to be the competent one in the pair but didn't give her personality..which they did for antman. Couldn't be more obvious than in quantumania.
The sad thing about this video is that Quantumania is out and there isnt any scene in that movie were Wasp actually does anything better or anything even compared to what already in this compilation

You can see her shape shifted to human size with the wings and then the blast happened.

She's so beautiful, and outstandingly action packed, for how she is with suit's shrinking & enlarging, wings, and weapons (blasters & disc launchers). Also, she has better personality than (Scott Lang) Ant Man. It would be Marvelously great if we could see her, in her suit, have just as much as he, (Scott Lang) Ant Man, did; in addition, maybe have her own movie without him, since he was in Captain America Civil. Another thing, if we could see her enlarge to a giant Wasp. In fact, I'd argue that that Wasp will not have a standalone because she's forever under Antman's shadow and a weaker character in comparison. The Antman franchise only survives on being tied to the Avengers plot and by Paul Rudd's starpower.

I love the fight between Hope and Ava and how their powers interact with one another. Ghost's phasing and invisibility is by far superior to the shrinking powers of the pym suits when it comes to stealth and infiltration. However, I think the pym suits offer safer ways to attack without getting hit back since Ava must go tangible for her to hit someone and in that moment she becomes vulnerable, although she have shown that she can make only selected body parts intangible. We've yet to know the extent of her abilities, so we need her to return.
Because original wasp ( Janet Van dyne ) mother of Hope van dyne was SHIELDs agent along with his husband Antman ( hank Pym ) and they were before Avengers was formed 🙏 Basically they were Superheros since Captain America The first Avenger 🙏
Watching the last scene in this video where all the avengers are rushing toward the fight, I can't help but wonder how many of his own army Ant Man is smushing into the ground as he is running into battle.
i think the only complaint I have here is that she's too small compared in comics. but in wasp size perspective, I think it's pretty accurate... I wish we'll see more of her and antman , instead of just being made as side characters. It felt like they're side characters even in their own movies.

I think the reason people don't connect with the antman movies is because watching someone super tiny fight is just not interesting. Its a weird skillset overall to try get your head around.
I really enjoyed the Ant Man movies. I thought the cast had great chemistry all the way around... Fight scenes were action packed and the chase scenes...never seen them done like that before...I found them fun.

Having to fight while small and changing it up in human form quickly, that's something different to see onscreen rather than normal hand-to-hand combat. As for trying to "get your head around", that's clearly an audience problem that cannot differentiate between movie and reality.

Since Wasp is my favourite female Avenger, her fighting reminds me of a Jedi, and I LOVE it when her hair is in a ponytail.
