Dear +Munro stand firm in the Lord. Daniel stood up to greater earthly powers for the Lord and was victorious. We worship the true God not some made for the seasons god.
Thank God, the United Kingdom is known and loved by God. There are far more than 7000 who have not bowed the knee to Baal. That is enough to pass the promise. Well done Bishop for being there!
The crux of it is the last question that has been the dispute for over 50 years to my knowledge, in UK and Australia. The churches & houses etc built by local parishioners should remain the property of the community of traditional Christians who put the work in, sometimes 2 hundred years before, that said, congrats to the recent church decision to uphold the covenant on the properties that they only be used for Christian churches and not mosques particularly.
I truly believe I am called by God to serve others and there by serving God and I have a degree in Theology and a diploma in Pastoral studies but I was not excepted by the Church in Wales because my Theology bid not agree with their beliefs even though they did not doubt my vocation and sincerity to the church and therefore can I put myself forward as a candidate for Gafcon Church please.
Rob, that is a very optomistic outlook. However, if the C of E proceeds down its path of apostacy, can any provisions be acceptable when scripture is plain that we should have nothing to do with those who teach such things? Personally I believe the leadership of the C of E has already entered a state of apostacy and that unless the leaders and synod repent ( possible but unlikely) then the only correct course of action is separation from them.
C of E is under the control and manipulation of satan. Let's not mince words. The Holy Spirit left there long ago. Any believer of Christ Jesus as Lord and Saviour should leave the satanic church ASAP. We follow Christ not the church.
Sadly some of the GAFCON countries don’t truly follow the Christian faith either. They persecute other ‘sinners’ not recognising that as the Lord said ‘take the plank out of your own eye, then you will see better to take the speck out of your brother’s’! A lot of such countries are hypocritical pointing to other’s sins to cover up the corruption in their own lands.
Obviously as a newly appointed bishop, Rob Munro has chosen his words very carefully. It's a sad indictment on the lack of respect shown to GAFCON that he is the only serving bishop in the Church of England who has attended this very important gathering.
I have to confess that from the Anglican Church I have known in my own locality I’ve always seen the church as a joke not holding the teaching of Christ but doing as every man sees right in his own eyes . It’s refreshing to think that there are Anglican priests / pastors who actually do hold the teaching of Christ , I didn’t think you existed
@@ThePastorsHeart in my locality it’s pretty much high church tradition and the lgbtq+ agenda is being rammed at us by “woke” clergy , I ended up leaving the Anglican Church and going to a evangelical church
How can I have this guy as my "bishop" when he is not in my diocese or even in my half of the country? I am very happy to have a proper bishop who upholds the ordination of women, the whole GAFCON movement is misogynistic.
I watched the Consecration of Bishop of Ebbsfleet and it is disheartening to see that the great majority of the bishops present did not participated in the laying of hands to him while participated with the other two. It just shows the apostasy of the majority of the bishops present.
Very sad state of the Anglican Church. The most educated church members are the most apostate as well. The ones who heard the gospel last are the ones who will carry the torch the longest.
Most of the Bishops in the Church of England are not Christians. They are godless imposters who have infiltrated the church. This is due in part to the apathy and theological ignorance of congregations who won’t or can’t challenge these people. Also sadly the CofE system tends to allow members into the body who have never been truly converted, due to its child baptism and confirmation rites. This allows people who are simply ‘religious’ to enter the church and work their way up in the system. ‘Religion’ is the worst thing in the world and deceives and damns more people than obvious wickedness!
They did not participate because the Bishop of Ebbsfleet did not want women bishops to 'taint' his consecration nor those who conscrate other women as Bishops. So actually out of respect for the Bishop of Ebbsfleet they do not participate in the act of consecration. Do not be so quick to judge that which you do not understand.
It's terribly divisive and destructive to talk about 'the options open to Evangelicals'. Why do you not say 'Faithful Church of England Members' or 'Faithful Anglicans' ? Please STOP making out that this is a matter specifically for 'Evangelicals'. Unless perhaps that is what you want it to be???? How can you convince the rest of the Faithful that you stand for them too if you keep on talking about this as though only one wing of the C of E contains faithful Christians? Mark my words, I am not imagining this and if it continues you will lose the more Traditional & Liturgical wings of the C of E completely. It's becoming shockingly clear to many of us that Anglicanism is set to be taken over by the sector that sees itself, rightly or wrongly, as Evangelical, and that there will be at best reluctant toleration for the rest of us, but far more likely no spiritual home at all within Anglicanism. It's nearly too late.
People who are high church and low church both need each other in Christ. Hang in there, faithful English Anglicans! We're praying for you here in the US.
All ‘faithful Christians’ are by definition evangelicals. If members of the church do not hold to the 39 articles and that the Bible is the Word of God and is our only rule of truth and faith, then such persons cannot consider themselves to be true Christians, even less faithful Anglicans. Religion as such has no value at all towards God, in fact it is repugnant to Him and a blasphemy against His revealed word. To be ‘religious’ is worse than being an agnostic or atheist!
This bishop's task is specifically to look after and speak for evangelicals in the Church of England. Others have been appointed to do the same for Anglo-Catholics. This is why he is speaking as he is for those specifically committed to his charge. So please recognise this for what it is. The question is, where are the Anglo-Catholic bishops? There is no reason for them not to attend. Gafcon embraces faithful Christians of all churchmanships.
I think it is evidence that the Protestant Church is not a cult ,in that there are many 'flavours'. It is vital that we do not compromise on the fundamentals but be charitable on non essentials for Salvation and the authority of the Bible. Remembering what the Reformers stood for. It is 'in Christ we live and move and have our being.' And it is to His glory that we live. So we all must humble ourselves before one another in love . Praying for each other..whatever the 'flavour'.
@@petercollins7848 Harsh Peter. Think about what you just said. You're saying Saint #MaxKolbe, who died in a Nazi concentration camp giving his life to save a younger man with a family, was no true Christian because he was Catholic. Not ok.
Isn’t it the way we talk to each other while we figure out whether gay folks are going to hell or not that is important? I mean, the early church had to decide whether the gentiles needed to be circumcised to be Christians. They had to figure it out. It’s no big deal to us but it was to some of them. Frankly, We really don’t know whether God might judge our greed and meanness and violence, more harshly than our sexual orientation anyway. I mean, it’s not like gay folks have an option. They just prefer their own sex. Would you force a gay man to marry a woman he doesn’t really love just to suit YOU? It’s sort of ridiculous. And as for God writing the Bible…give me a break. It would certainly have less crap in it if he wrote it. It’s definitely a human document and it’s kind of lucky we have it at all. He sure left plenty of things to chance.
I'm pretty sure God would judge meanness and uncharitableness to someone on the basis of their makeup pretty damn harshly. But don't mistake following scriptural marriage rules for homophobia. That would be extremely short-sighted.
