Being about 4-5 years older than you i remember picking up the first Max Power in a car tuner shop in Essex. It wasnt a full magazine but kinda proof of concept with feature cars and a few ads. I bought it every month after, including the one you showed here. All gone now though.

I still have the first copy of max I ever bought. Dec 1996 with a cossie powered 205 van on the cover. I bought it from a corner shop on my way to school at aged 14 and went on to own most of my dream hot hatches in the 2000s

9.57 advert Road and stage motorsport on white Lund morecambe growing up with the max power scene as a kid then learning to drive in 1999 that place sorted my nova sr right out full suspension, 4 branch manifold, Ashley centre section, peco single upswept exhaust, k&n air filter and splitfire plugs what more could a 19 year old ask for ❤❤❤
