- With its 0-72 mph in 2 seconds hydraulic launch, Storm Runner is one of the most popular Intamin accelerator coasters in the world. This video shows off all its fun elements - a 150 foot tall Top Hat with a 180 foot 90° drop, 135 feet tall Cobra Loop, plus the 50 foot tall Heartline Roll and Flying Snake Dive - as well as the coaster's dual loading station.

absurdly underrated ride, the best in the park and probably one of the best in the world
Agreed, Farenheit and Skyrush have taken the hype away from this coaster but I think it's the best out of the 3, and has a shorter wait time! Not including the woodies, this and Great Bear are my 2 favorites in the park.

Few rides have such a perfect path, I don't know the word. It's like a composition of maneuvers perfectly executed by a figure skater or a wonderful combo of swoops and dives by a seemingly joyful bird in the sky. Whatever it is, this coaster has it. It defies intensity, duration or intimidation of other thrills. Talon, Prowler and maybe Maverick I would include in this category. Rides like this are inherently re-ridable too.
Steven John That’s because Intamin (Storm Runner’s manufacturer) designs their rides around a riders’ heart. That’s why the turns and inversions are curved a certain way. It’s very smooth and feels natural as a result. Another manufacturer, Bolliger and Mabillard or B&M for short, follows the same design principle.

I went on this ride when it first opened in ‘04. I was scared shitless, but my cousins forced me🥺 Needless to say, I’m thankful that they did lol. It was pretty dope!!

I love this ride. I was so sad I couldn't remember the name of it and I was searching every east coast Six Flags and King's Dominion. It's amazing.
Splendid coaster. I usually go to Hershey once a year with a couple of my co-workers from Knoebels. We have a park exchange for employees which allows us to visit other amusement parks for free. Unfortunately we didn't get to visit Hershey this past year. We ended up going to Six Flags Great Adventure which is another awesome park.
Many props to Skyrush but this is the best coaster in the park.

This coaster is a good one. Maybe the best in the park but then again Sky rush and Fahrenheit argue a strong case as well.
KD Bowe sounds a lot like David Hayter on this ride.

How do you go from a 135ft. Cobra loop to a 50ft. Heartline roll without pulling like 10 G's. I think that statistic is a little off.
It's due to the terrain. The heartline roll is 50 feet off the ground, but is at the top of the ravine whereas the cobra loop comes out from the bottom of the ravine.
:'( I wanna go here so bad!!! Its on my next for amusement parks.

Universal Orlando. The hulk is my favorite roller coaster IN MY OPINION out of any of the parks you mentioned. And I have been to all of them

+CoasterForce 1 . I rode this when I was 10 years old and I screamed so loud you could hear me from Six Flags great adventure. 2. I really like your videos because you don't curse, they are good quality and you have videos at almost every amusement park so I watch the videos before I go to them. 😃

Actually Ferinhieght is the one of the scariest roller coaster in the world and I loved it!🤘🏻😄 but when you go on the stormrunner it take like 34 seconds. It ain't bad til you get on it.😄😊
