Dushan Fernando She underestimated how dangerously moronic the High Sparrow was. She felt she could manipulate him like she had her husbands. She didn't realise that one thing you can't do is replace a mans god because for the Sparrow he was so deeply religious that he obeyed no one but the gods. Margery couldn't control him. She realises this when she tried to reason with him in the Sept of Balor for them all to leave and realised she couldn't. It was too late then
Dushan Fernando she knew cersei. She didn't underestimate her at all. In fact she was the only one to work out what Cersei was planning. She didn't think for a second that's blowing up the Sept was too far for Cersei. She immediately tried to escape.

I'm still upset about that. Barristan Selmy is one of the greatest sword fighters in the whole realm. A bunch of rich guys wearing masks wielding knives in an alleyway wouldn't take down Selmy. That'd be a joke to him. I'm glad he is alive and well in the books.

He's a tragic hero from the beginning. He was taught how to win battles but not the war. Just like his namesake who won every battle including the decisive Battle of Trident, but would have failed in winning the war, until Tywin turned the tides to his favour by deceiving the mad king into opening the gates and laying the siege.

I like Sophie Turner's answer, because I wish they hadn't killed Joffrey as well. To me he was actually one of the most interesting character in the series to watch, and the actor who portrayed him did an excellent job as well
Val K yup, extremely talented. His reactions and ability to fluster is unmatched. Edmure Tully is underated as well. Don't know that actor's name offhand, but I will look for more of him in the future. He is an acting level above most. When you watch an interview with Gleeson and you see how different he actually is as a person, you appreciate even more his acting abilities. Also David Bradley (?) Walder Frey being Arya being Walder and giving just slight differences from Walder enough so we pick up on subtle notes was genius. Ramsay also very well done. His face when he doesn't even look to where he is shooting that arrow at Rickon, when he turns to his fellow archer..... brilliant. I'd LOVE to buy Liam Cunningham a pint sometime too, he has a huge heart.

Most of the main characters that died is what propelled the story forward, so I wouldn't change any of those. Secondary characters are different. I think Osha would have been a great lifelong guardian of Bran if she'd survived protecting Rickon.

how did none of them say tywin lannister? his actor, charles dance, from what i have seen in the interviews, is a very respectable man, and he is one of the best actors from what i have seen ( i saw his role as tywin in GoT and the emperor of nilfgaard in the withcer 3 and both were amazing )

It as good moment for Tyrion right there but I really would want to see how everything would play out if he were still alive. We definitely woudn't have any of the church crap going on for two seasons just to blow them up in the end.
Also, "they" said that right now they need to balance the forces as Denny is overpowered with her dragons... I am pretty sure that if Tywin was still alive there wouldn't be any need for extra balancing and so many wouldn't deflect to Denny either.
yeah... you are completely right, tywin was a great character and he was a tactical genius who would certainly find a way to balance dany's bullshit ( dragons,unsullied,dothraki... and most importantly, the creators wanking her because they want emilia clarke to look strong because, yay, girl power all the way ) and charles dance was a great actor. Another character to bring back would be stannis baratheon, i mean he was as smart as tywin when it came to battle, maybe even smarter ( tywin was better at deceiving people but stannis was better planning in battles because he is the first one in and he leads his armies into battle and has a lot of experience ) but ohhh well, the creators and fans want stupid dany and jon to be at the top because their actors are attractive and young.

The character i wish i had seen more of from this series is Sir Arthur Dayne. I was really hoping he would be revealed as someone else later in the series, perhaps as Qhorin Halfhand or someone of that caliber. From the limited viewing of him i really wanted to see more. Also another character i would like to have seen more of was The red viper. He had alot more to bring to the story if he had lived.
I actually miss Shae. While there are undoubtedly a whole array of fascinating characters, I was always intrigued by Shae's character, and felt they could have done much more with her.
GRRM said TV Shae was better than book Shae thanks to the work of the actress, coming from the writer himself she couldn't have gotten a better compliment. Shae was indeed a very intriguing character
What about Meera Reed? Or her father lord Howland Reed of Greywater Watch, and the only LIVING witness alive to testify Jon's parentage!! Imho a very important character. I'm surprised no one mention Tywin Lannister. Charly Dance gave an absolute masterclass in portraying the tyrannical yet overly powerful and influential mastermind and true power in the seven kingdoms. Every scene he played , he commanded respect(even where he had to scrape a bit towards Oberyn Martell which is another example: Pedro Pascal portrayed the flamboyant and extravagant Prince Oberyn with great skill and flair.)

The Reed's have been guarding the Neck: The swampy passage between the North and the Riverlands, for eons: They are probably one of the most loyal Houses to the Starks?(Where waas the scene between Sansa, JON, and Howland Reed at Greywater Watch for instance?)
The SOLE reason why Meera and Jojen Reed, sought out Bran Stark was a 'magical/telepathical' reason: Atleast ONE House that understood the importance of Warging? An undeniable piece of that puzzle?.... and they just wrote them out??? "Benioff and Weiss kinda forgot that was an important part in the Story developing Brandon Stark'?? geez
The could have made whole season about House Reed! Imagine the Reed's guerrilla warfare on the frikkin Freys, after the Red Wedding! You can rest assured that the Reeds wuold do ANYTHING they could to sabotage the Freys for that heinous crime! And the Reeds were experts at guerrilla warfare! Thats how they kept rule over the Neck: They knew those swamps better then anyone, and nobody would pass that bottleneck, without House Reed's approval!
They could have easily 'slipped in', a number of Crannogmen(the guerrila swampfighters of House Reed?) to Jon's Army, doing important infiltrations, like poisoning foodsupplies, capturing riders for 'interrogation'... yknow.. do the horrible sh*t to the Boltons forces, like Ramsey did to Stannis??
