Great podcast as always Jake and Damian! Favourite moment was definitely Paul McGinley’s golden rule to create an environment for players to go out unburdened and unshackled and inspired to play as good as they can play. It highlights the key to successful sports leadership: creating an atmosphere where players feel free, inspired, and motivated to give their best performance.
I could listen to Sam for hours. He has such a soothing tone yet very insightful and a wonderful sense of humour

Fascinating conversation this. Emphasises the psychology of sport & the acknowledgement that different things make different individuals tick, and how captains manage that. Stats versus instinct with picks, pairings and all decision making. Who will rise to the occasion and who will crumble. We'll find out in a few days. Can't wait.
Generally both captains do this well - end of the day the big players have to play well and always has to be one winner

Previous captains looked after Luke, and the players are looking after Luke in this Ryder Cup.
Don't understand when Stenson got the captaincy taken off him why Luke Donald got it, he really hasn't done anything doesn't live in Europe Molinara 2 x majors Italian, slap in face, the elitists at work.
He was world number 1 for 56 weeks. Nothing though 😂
