Selling out and recycling music?
Not selling out! So some of the new songs jave a different feel! They have evolved like most people. Are you still stuck in the life you had when you were younger? Dod you not try new things? Look back at Metallica! People HATED the change they made to their sound! But, that cjange propelled them forward. And they became the face of metal at that time. Not to mention one more thing. They have to appease the record lables! Without something different, they wouldn't get backing. No backing, No new record no tour, no Godsmack! It's that simple. The new album has the old Godsmack sound. It's a tamed version, but still their sound. Not to mention this is their 20 year mark! They aren't gonna sing about the same shit they did at 19, 20, even 30! People change.
