I am trying to put together a Pc for my Audio Production studio. It needs to have Thunderbolt Alpine Ridge built into the motherboard like this one. IT is very important that it is built in. Addon cards is not supported for the audio interface i will be using. DO you have a full list that shows all motherboards with built in TB3? or could you just name them? I find it hard to fiind because most marketing doesn't say if it is built in or just supported with addon card.

This was just a bit out of my price range. I would highly recommend checking out the ''Gigabyte LGA1151 Z390 DESIGNARE'' tho. They have just released this board, and it seems very good. This is still great too, but i don't know about compatibility for it. One thing i would recommend doing do no matter what you end up getting. Be as quick as you can with building the pc after you get it. Just test it right away. In case it doesn't work, send the mobo back right away and get your money back. no harm done. Getting these things to work correctly can be a bit luck based, but most stores should cover you for a while. So don't be afraid of trying something. I spent some time getting it to work. It just sucks when you cant return it. But if you want this, go for it! I really love uad Apollo, their plugins and especially the interface. So easy to use and i get zero data dropouts!

I have an AMD A10 7870K, but this is very good, I would rather know, if the latest models of the motherboard G1.Sniper A88X and GA-F2A88X-UP4 for a microprocessor APD AMD A10 7870K are compatible? ... and also if the FM2 + is above the AM3 + and the motherboard should be gamming bone one just like the GA-F2A68HM-HD2, it is somewhat unfair that there is no game support for the A Series microprocessors. I hope for the next exits there is a motherboard that supports games and is the same model as the AM3 +.

So how does the wifi antenna connect? I'm not figuring this out. It looks like there are some nuts missing to hold the connectors in place. Anyone have a video?
Omfg I'm having the same problem, and I can't find help anywhere. I've contacted Gigabyte and they said that the antenna doesn't use nuts and they insert into the connectors with force. I've nearly broken them doing that so I have no idea how it is supposed to connect.
@@Lapse-a-lot Yeah they do snap in. It doesn't look very intuitive but that's how it works. Take your time and press with firm pressure. It will pop in. Would be nice if someone made a video of how it's done. Or something in the dam manual about it.

You don't need the card to use the Motherboard's ports. You can install the GC-Alpine Card for additional Thunderbolt 3 ports but you might run into some resources limitation depending on what devices you try to connect.

With this motherboard, you can use the video capabilities of Thunderbolt 3. To do so, connect your VGA to the DP-in connector and then connect your Thunderbolt displays to the USB-C connector. If you need more details and pictures, check page 23 of the board's manual :)

Sorry, 6000p Series is what is required per Intel. Sounds like this _may_ work without the USB Key nonsense? Any info on that?

It's compatible but I would suggest you to get something lower than CL16 because the one you have is CL17 and it could not be reliable
