As a Catholic I really like this game and I am happy that Fauna enjoyed it too
and i really appreciate that even though it leans super heavily into Catholic themes, you don't need to be a Catholic to understand some of it's deeper moments. very deeply contextual game, as well as just a masterclass of theming, horror, storytelling, and gameplay. incredible game.

So I'm a pastor's kid (which means my life was pretty much *exactly* like the one presented in this game before I went agnostic lmao) and I'm here to drop some utterly useless pastors kid knowledge that the midi sting which plays constantly in the menu of this game is just a slightly altered version of "Here o my Lord I see thee face to face" (The tune is named Penitentia) and that hymn is now very much stuck in my head and driving me nuts.

こんファウナ - er, Konfauna! Vivian here (since my name will be in katakana still when I post this). To explain the katakana joke: back in February or so Isaac Wolf sent an SC about changing their name to English to make it easier for you to pronounce and I thought it'd make a funny prank to do the opposite, so I mentioned it to chat and kept it in mind for April. Kurayami normally would be in Kanji but I wanted to do a prank, not be sadistic - that and I'm not 100% sure on the exact Kanji for Kurayami with the meaning it means. Diego remembered for sure since I saw his name was changed yesterday and then more of chat joined in today once I sent my SC in because we love our shenanigans and I'm kinda happy I got to lead chat in doing one even if I didn't expect so many Saplings to join in. Super hyped for Hitman endurance!
Love Me Some Sunday Horror With Fauna, They're Always A Blast! This was a really interesting game, I was throughly invested and I'm digging where the lore is going! Fauna's brain might be a bit too big for some of those puzzles, sometimes Occam's Razor is the best approach, haha. Sorry for being a little bit evil with the "-gozaimasu" in that JP SC today, I couldn't resist the opportunity. tehepero
P.S. The dev of this game gave an interesting talk at a GDC about how he designs horror games and he talks about how he specifically made things that would 'get' streamers. I recommend watching it if that sort of thing interests you, but there are spoilers for the whole trilogy.

Today was a super fun stream. Fauna not only managed to exorcise some demons she also managed to do some improptu Japanese practice. Thank you for streaming as always, and I'm glad you're enjoying the game too! And even if some of the bosses were tough, the point is that you had enough determination to pull it through.

This is a really great indie horror game, and I'm glad you played it! Seeing the other 4 endings of chapter 1 is really fast and totally worth it. Spoiler-free tip for chapter 3: Each segment has a secret you need for the true end, but they're hard to get. It's worth it though for the extra content! And looking forward to another week of streams!
