    United announced in 2020 to make improvements in their domestic short/medium-haul cabin product which was a very pleasant surprise. Although the specific aircraft I flew on didn’t have the new cabin the flight was still very smooth with great service and comfortable seats. I was also happy to finally test out the 737 MAX and I hope that the issues regarding that aircraft are behind us. I was very impressed with the MAX because it offered a very smooth ride and had a modern cabin design. Overall, It’s great to see United making a turn for the better instead of getting worse as we see happening with a couple other U.S. carriers.

    Great review!! Love Denver airport and love to fly to Denver. I worked and lived in Aspen for 6 years, now I live in Nuremberg, Germany. Last year I've been flying to the US but always with AA from Frankfurt or Munich, which is not bad but definitely not the best 😂 love to see your Delta and United reviews!
    Going to Denver in mid March after 3 years, via London with BA. So excited!

      Cool! Have a great flight! I just thought I’d mention that starting this summer, Lufthansa will start flying their BRAND NEW 787-9 between Frankfurt and Denver, in case that interest you! Thanks for the positive feedback 😀👍

    Great review! Very minor point, but the 800s and MAX 8s have 16 seats in first class, while the 900s and MAX 9s have 20 seats thanks to a fifth row of seats up front.

    The difference in sound levels is engines only. Won't make any difference in cruise

    12:36 I think Denver is also United's Largest hub, at least it's the main hub for United's Rocky Mountain Region flights

      United‘s largest hub is actually in Chicago (ORD) but Denver is definitely the largest hub in the area.

    Awesome video.I am not sure to truth that little machine 🧐(some say something different then the other, specially the ones on the phone) The max is quieter than the older generation and it really your ear were comfy l, that really the point. Other than that, I don't really mind what they said about US carriers as long I get to my destination and enjoy flying. Other than that , I am just an aviation lover!

      Thank's so much for your comment! I am glad you enjoyed my video. I do agree with you in the sense that the MAX sounded quieter during takeoff to my ear, but I really didn't notice a significant noise drop during cruise. I'm happy that I have fellow aviation enthusiasts watching and enjoying my videos!

      @@theplanefacts Hey! Sorry for the late reply. It would possibly be that the trush was at high power and that is why it was heard. Although the new ones are quieter, if they have a lot of power, of course, they make more noise (remember that it has the CFM International LEAP engine with the same technologies as the 320neo who is also quit)

    • @sergiolaurencio7534
      @sergiolaurencio7534 Год назад

      @@theplanefacts Remember when you traveled with BA and his a320? It barely had people! (and I don't know if you knew this, but using less force when a plane is very empty is one way that airlines save fuel) That engine is the other older generation and it was quiet!

    • @sergiolaurencio7534
      @sergiolaurencio7534 Год назад

      But hey, let me tell you that I like what you do to compare which aircraft is quieter than another. Definitely, something most reviewers never do. Wating for the next video!

      @@sergiolaurencio7534 Thanks so much! You’re totally right about load having a great factor in the noise. I am happy that you enjoy the way I make my videos! I noticed that no one else does sound readings which is why I felt that it is such an important part to add to my videos. Stay tuned, I have really cool videos ready for December and January!!!!! 😁

    Why do some Max 9 have IFE and some dont ?

    • @theplanefacts
      @theplanefacts  Год назад

      This is because when United first received the 737 MAX in 2018, they had planned on following a similar cabin product to that of American Airlines with BYOD which is why their older 737 MAXs (like the one I flew on) don’t have the IFEs. However, United announced in 2021 that they would be doing the complete opposite to what was first originally planned and they will be adding seat back screens, larger overhead bins, and mood lighting to all their aircraft. This is why all 737 MAXs delivered after June 2021 have seatback IFEs installed.
