I would LOVE to see more handicrafts videos or SSM curriculum to purchase that is more in the direction of handicrafts that Sonya and Karen spoke of.....burning iron, rope coiling, leather working, etc. I would buy every lesson plan!
Hi Sonya, I just saw your latest video about breast cancer. My dad just got lung cancer in January, he is 81 and very active. After a minor surgery to drain fluid, being on oxygen and starting on Chemo...he finally took a natural medicine called 4life transfer factor plus. A week and a half later he was talking without coughing. A month later, and he is now back to working at the hotel, fishing, golfing, trimming trees, using his metal detector at the beach, and all the things he loves to do, all without the oxygen tank!! I highly recommend 4life transfer factor plus and preferably the vegetarian one without unhealthy pork gelatin. I hope this helps!
Thank you for reaching out to share your experience with something that helped a loved one with cancer. We appreciate your heart for helping Sonya during this time!
I am glad to hear this. Several of my kids don't know what it means to sit down and pay attention. I don't expect it. I have been trying to teach my son his phonics sounds for a good bit of time and then one day I did this thing where he can jump on the letters or hit the letters or whatever and he finally started to get it. He can't sit and learn. Not for a long time. If he was in school, he'd be labeled and told he is behind. He just learns differently. When it is time for him to sit, I try to find ways that he will look forward to it, if that makes sense. But it's a lot to have him sit long
Hi, Thank you for joining us and sharing what has worked well for your child! What you are saying absolutely makes sense! It sounds like you are on the right path with him and meeting him where he is will help him to establish the habit of full attention as well as slowly improve his ability to attend over time rather than present him with an expectation that is out of his reach right now and will only serve to frustrate him. Here are a couple blogposts that touch on these ideas of children who need movement to learn as well as meeting the individual child's needs. I have 3 boys&we are in our 19th year Homeschooling.😍We love CM,but none of us are,"prim&proper", especially not my boys&husband!😆
Haha, thankfully that's not a requirement for being a Charlotte Mason homeschooler! :) Thank you for joining us!
Wait, I don’t lose my CM card if I don’t drink tea?! 🤣
Haha no you can still be a Charlotte Mason Homeschooler without that habit :) Thanks for joining us!

I needed this. With nine children and 6 of them being boys, our house is anything but quite. 😂 Thank you for this video!
