This is very in line with how we use technology in our homeschool. My kids are teenagers now and have used technology to aid them, especially my child with dyslexia. Additionally, audiobooks and the ability to change the fonts of some of the PDF versions of older books to dyslexie font has been invaluable to him.
Thank you for sharing what has worked well for your family and in specific for your student with dyslexia! Technology can be such a valuable tool and it is so helpful for other families to hear what has worked well for your student with dyslexia.
As I was listening, I was thinking that during our study of the Middle Ages, my 4,6 and 9 year old have been observing fashion development. Some through RUclips, some through coloring pages. Today we listened to a piece of pre-baroque dances whilst driving, and they were able to tell me what type of dress, shoes, headgear, hairstyle, they would be wearing if they went to a dance of that era. All thanks to technology!
Excellent podcast! Sonya Thank you for always asking your guests and clarifying for those of us we are listening only and to explain any new terms! Your efforts are appreciated!
Hi, Thank you for reaching out with your question! "Our Preschool Life" does not ship internationally. Here are some resources for the early years: simplycharlottemason.com/planning/preschool-guide/
I appreciate the “intentionality” of using technology. All technology is not bad, but it needs to be purposefully used. Thank you.
Thanks for joining us, glad you enjoyed this episode!
I'd love to see the previous episode about screentime, is there a link posted for that one?

Thanks for sharing, this is a great point and an example of a wonderful use of technology to gain information about another time period!

Thank you for your kind words and feedback, so glad that you found this podcast to be helpful!
Spot on when Sonya spoke of the camera angles always changing....that is so bothersome. I don't believe it's good for our brains.
Thanks for joining us and sharing your thoughts on this topic!
Love the comparison of VR to the View Master. My kids got one (to share) for Christmas and it's still a beloved toy!
Thank you for joining us and sharing what your family has enjoyed!
