Holy, this makes me feel like a little kid again. I wore this tape out every year. I played it in the morning with my cereal by our fireplace, wrapping presents, heck even the schoolbus on my cassette player. Thank you for this upload! Happy tears.
I can't believe you have these. I had this set when I was very, very small (about ages 0 through 4). This is actually some first memory stuff you've dug out of my brain here. Thank you so, so much.
Played this while opening presents on Christmas morning. My brother and I wouldn’t open a present without it playing in the background lol. Ahhh good times man. Good times. 80s babies. 90s kids

I still have these two on vinyl. It's a compilation of Christmas songs featuring Larry Groce, the Disneyland Children's Chorus, the Mike Sammes Singers, and Mickey and his friends. It features songs from the two Disney Christmas albums.
There are digital versions of a lot of the songs from this and the other tapes. This person compiled them and provided s download link. I think there is a second compilation let me check. ruclips.net/video/EgHI2ovYH4k/видео.html
great job hitting 2 Thousand Subscribers Beetle Muse! also, nice covers of these classic Christmas songs as done by our friends Larry Groce & the Disneyland children's chorus from the Disney studios! one more word, Merry Christmas Beetlemuse! good job finding those compilations albums with Larry Groce for Disneyland records from 1979! fun fact dude! back in my childhood i used to own Disney's Children's favorites vol 1 back then up until 2008 or 09 as far as memory serves correctly! also, did you know that they re-released Disney's children's favorites volumes 1 & 2 back in 2008?
This is odd. It seems like a compilation of 2 tapes that I had. I'm not doubting you, just saying I never knew this particular tape existed. So far, Rudolph is from Christmas Favorites, and Joy to the World, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and Sleigh Ride are from Merry Christmas Carols.
Would you be able to post the other tape? I'm glad you have these. I've had the Best of Disney SA tapes since a kid. And in the song books in the back was a list of releases. Always wanted these growing up. So, glad to finally hear these. :)
This was one of two tapes with accompanying songbooks released on or around 1989. The songs are taken from a 1970s recording and so are on older sets as well. That's why you've seen them before. Here is what this particular set looked like: www.ebay.com/itm/Disney-Cassette-Sing-Along-Story-Book-Vintage-Christmas-Gift-Set-Family-Fun-P-/173867931092
Anyone know who the man is who sings Away in a Manger? I always thought it was the voice actor who played Dave Seville in the Chipmunks but I'm not so sure. This tape is very nostalgic.
I thought I had a box of some more tapes but I went through my stuff and didn't see it. I got some others in my file cabinet to upload its about 30 more tapes. I am also searching for more tapes to buy ;)
I will be uploading this tape soon, but I could only find the second tape for it. Apparently it was a 2 tape collection. I will be on the lookout for the first tape :)

You had cereal by the fireplace, eh? Jingle bells, jingle bells, yummy all the way.

Your right though, the songs seem to be already released. There is another tape like this with different songs.
I'm holding my battered copy of this tape in my hands right now. Listened to it soooo many times as a kid. So sad iTunes doesn't have it *cries*
