- Kajka was launched in 2008 and quickly became the favourite backpack of mountain trekkers. With its smart functions, large capacity and easy adjustable carrying system to suit varying body types, it has been acclaimed by trekkers all over the world and praised in the media. In the new Kajka you will recognise most details. Some functions are now even better. But one thing we dare say is totally unique: The new Kajka has an innovative, environmentally adapted, cutting edge frame construction -- made from Nordic wood.

I have one Kajka 100, One 22 km trip was 40 kilo in it, it sits so well that was no problem to hike with. Thanks for a Super good Ryggsak.
Used the kajka 75 l extensively for seven years now (both backpacking and regular heavy weight -up to 30 kg shopping...don't have a car) and can attest to the durability of this backpack...the basic structure is still in top shape...things that wear out: the elastic straps to hold the (imo, too lengthy)straps tidy, they get floppy and unelastic...the plastic holder of the waterbaghose was torn off when removing the bag from a train deposit...and biggest failure: one of the plastic 'things' on the main belt strap broke when stepping on it (but strangely: it seems like it causes no problems so far, it still locks fine)...but apart from that, it is in a very decent shape...love this pack...Highly recommend this, when weight is not the priority!
i got the kajka for my 17th birthday, i realy love it and it is an amazing backpack and i will use it for many more years and hopefully also the fjallraven classic
You 23 now? Still using the Kajka?
I love my Kajka 75, its so confortable. Cant wait to go back trekking just to use it again.
Oh Fjallraven, why do you make me jealous?
Just ordered the 100L version. Hopefully it's not too big. I'm 1.96m myself so I guess it won't look too weird. I like to bring a lot of stuff and I won't use it only for in the wilderness but also as a suitcase on holidays so that's why I took the 100L version.
Hey! How did it work out for you?
I have had "email me when this item comes back in stock" for 6+ months on a Graphite Kajka 75 from the US store. Are there plans to bring this color back?
What litre size is he showing in this? And are the sizes ( 65L, 75L, 85L, etc) just of the main body compartment or does that include the side pockets as well?
Love the bag, fjallraven is becoming one of my favourite brands thanks to their design and durability!
Hi, In this video we show you Kajka 75. Regarding the size of the backpack, the number of liters also include the side pockets.
Hi Fjall, i got this pack for over a year now and i love it. But i fail to use 50% of it's features - as they are not described anywhere and it drives me nuts. I know some of this information is commonly known (or ought to be) for trekking persons - but i still fail :(
Kindly please do a video where You show how to use the inside mesh, bottom side of the backpack loops, how to attach walking poles, ice axe - all the really (sometimes) annoying things, that can ruin Your walk ;)
I love it, but it misses some straps or loops to attach trekking poles and other stuffs outside the bag.
Hej, I am glad to hear that you like the backpack!
On the Kajka backpack you can use the compression straps to attache stuff on both sides. Because the compression straps are attached different on both sides you can also use the long straps to attache something bigger and lighter at the far back of the backpack too. On the outside at the bottom of the backpack you can find two webbing loops that can be used together with the two black/grey attaching point if you want to attache some ice axes or trekking poles too www.fjallraven.com/shop/kajka-75-F27095-graphite/?sku=7323450014964
No it doesn't :D
A) it is versatile = heavy even unloaded
B) what about the strap that manages the shoulder strap height, there is no compartment to stove it away and it rubs against your back and the lumbar pad = uncomfortable
How to solve these issues?
Hi, The Kajka has many pockets, big pockets and many solutions. It means it is heavier than our other slimmer or minimalistic backpacks for example.
So it highly depends on what kind of backpack you require.
When you open the velcro flap for the adjustment you actually have a pocket for the strap. I hope this helps!
@ OK, and thank you for the information about the information about the storage of the strap, I did not know about that and even in the store they did not show me that possibility, so with a loaded pack it was uncomfortable. But I can imagine, when it is stored away properly, it will not be an issue.
The weight of an empty pack is something I have to consider.
What is the difference between men`s and women`s versions?
Hi, The main difference between women`s and men`s version is that the ladys model has a support system that is designed for female anatomy with ergonomically shaped shoulder straps. The hip belt is also specially shaped to fit the female form and offers a high degree of carrying comfort on long trekking days.
hi, would it be weird or uncomfortable If a man wears woman's version?
@@DrMatthewXavier Hi. It is now 2020 and you are free to do what you want to do.

Cool backpack. They're beautiful and I'm thinking of buying one, but the removable top seems kind of gimmicky. I mean, that one strap would probably get uncomfortable pretty quickly...
+gringochucha Hej !it is actually pretty useful, I use it as a daypack for bits and piece when I don´t want to bring the whole backpack but can´t hold it all in my hands or pockets.
Is it possible to use the Greenland wax on the Kajka?
Hi, No, we don´t recommend the wax to be used on the Vinylon F fabric.
