that race looks like a 2 stroke blast, I love single track mountain courses. the last hill climb through the rocks looks like it would be fun on a trials bike.
I had a 1980 RM400 and took it up to a place called Stonyford California. It was a lot like this. The downhills were tremendously scary. It was a super good two days of riding. The guys that were used to it were a lot better than me on this ride and they had no problems with anything. On the way back down, there were miles and miles of curves, right and left. I had my brakes locked up all of the time and I sure was getting good practice sliding sideways. I'm an old toad now and I would never be strong enough to make that ride ever again. The two strokes had that instant blast of explosive power to get you over places where a four stroke would have bogged down.
Love the dedicated cameraman !!! @ 7:22 ... Let's us taste a little dirt ,,, from the recliner ... Love your work ,,, amazing video ... Thanks 👍👍👍 Dave ...
Great footage, I'm just getting back into enduro riding after a ton of years the biggest enduro was a 500. I just bought a XR650, curious how much do these bikes weigh, they look very light?
A Ktm 300 xc/w is roughly 230 pounds dry. Also being a 2t with less spinning mass they will feel slightly lighter and less stable than a similar weight 4t.
I used to motocross when I was in my 20's, then I started downhill mt biking. By comparison, mt bikers are so much stronger and coordinated as a whole. Probably being in better shape helps. It is much more physically demanding and requires more balance and skill than moto. This was kinda like watching cyclocross. Spandex and all.
I uh... I walked up the stairs today in flip flops without tripping so I'm uh.. pretty proud of myself... I bet I could do this balance stuff in my sleep. Gimme a pogo stick and a pair of spandex and I'll beat those nerds up the track
Same experience. I ride dirt (24 hour races solo on the mnt bike) and the amount of effort mnt biking is so beyond motocross. Yes, there is epic skill sets here, but twisting a wrist is just incomparable to hammering up climb after climb on the pedals. - AB in Santa Barbara California and Sabah Borneo
David Byrne believe it or not I saw an article somewhere that there are people that get paid just to give negative feedback or thumb down videos and articles trying to make it look bad. There are also those pesky tree huggers that hate everything that disturbs one grain of sand heck I bet they even hate themselves most of the time. Lol
You guys are so salty about 4 strokes. Shut up. Both are dirt bikes and both have areas where they're better. Example... Owning a two stroke supermoto. That is not practical at all, they get far worse MPG.
Nick Childs It has nothing to do with the stroke or displacement and everything to do with the rider for any style of riding. Graham Jarvis on a 1965 bike would kick my ass on the world's best Enduro bike in any kind of race.
less wheel spin bettr traction maybe 4 stroke but when them 2 strokers grab they grab whats wrong to much for you plus they can be heavy pigs I still like both prefer 2 strokes though
Owning a supermoto is not practical, people own them because of the experience, personally give me a 2t over 4t any day.. Most of us oldies grew up on 2t and I can say my riding has certainly declined since I went full time 4 stroke, 2 strokes really show you what you are doing wrong.
That's why you got to own both I got a 87 trx250r that will beat the shit out of most 450s with bolt on s . I got 2 450s to and guess what I can go start and ride right now. The Honda KTM needs a petcock and the Kx need's a bunch of stuff paid 3k and wrode it 10mins then went to change the oil and seen it was jb welded
Call me old fashioned but i prefer races whete the feet spend more time on the pegs. Great skill but i'd rather see a slightly faster course. Maybe it is just the editing abd they have just selected the most difficult sections.
Estoy viendo el vídeo y no entiendo como en un evento así se cruza alguien en la largada???!!!!!.....que hace ese tipo ahí????!!!....que falta de coordinación y seriedad
That's what scares me, the downhills and the front end washing out. On one ride I crashed about eight times on the downhills when a more experienced rider said, don't use the front brake. I thought, WHAT! Even with the front brake on too, the bike accelerated to almost motocross speeds going over the ruts. The ruts scared me too, but, surprisingly, the RM400 went through them like no other bike that I had. Anyway, it was some good days riding.
I had a Suzuki TM125, RM125 and a RM400. The little bikes really surprised me on how much power that they had. The 400 Really, Really surprised me on how powerful that was. It was super fast.

The last hill climb part looked fucking gnarly! (To use one of those enduro expressions :D )
another incredible skillful sports development we have to thank RedBull for
Though I never drink RedBull, I love RedBull !
so nobody gonna mention that guy in 0:11 ??
Does the US have any races like this?
Insane channel! keep up the good work bro :D

Hello, just one basic information is missing. Where is it ?
Thanks for your feedback! :) Kemer / Turkey
What arw differences between dirt bikes & enduro bikes ? Please anyone tell me
1:26 MOOOOOVE!!!!!!!!!
A lot of people in the crowd didn't seem to realize what might happen if the bike slipped and vaulted into their dumb asses.
Massa !!! Este percurso é LOCOOOO !!!

can you jump ma 120 ft cap without a downhill run? Didnt think so
Ever done an 8 or 12 hour enduro race? I raced MX too, there's no comparison between a 20 or 40 minute moto and a full day enduro.
The difference is that these pro level dirt bike riders could jump on a mountain bike and instantly be competitive. I doubt the opposite is true.
Cool!! More Please!!
Thanks man! Keep in touch!
They are using 2 stroke because they are lighter and easier to manoeuvre.
Ross Graham and they have way better power-band
Ross Graham and their engine isn’t too hot
Lol, have you ever ridden?
Uses less fuel as the strokes are shorter
As far as I know 2-stroke has a longer rod/stroke than 4-stroke, with larger diameter piston
Red Bull… “Let’s build a playground/Obstacle course and call it a race”…badazz
Where is this held?
0:10 What do you see?
What this bikes are called ??
What happened to the guy at the starting line. Anyone knew?
Which bikes are these? I'd like to have one, or two 🙌
idk look it up. Do you have the funds to buy a bike and a truck and trailer to haul one?
Thanks for the video! Who on earth gives this a thumbs down???

Thanks for the vid
Thanks man!
Cool vid, I like technical riding. But it did look a little on the easy side. Sure miss my old two strokes.
Yes I found it really easy from my sofa.
I borrowed my mom's hover-round and did this
in my sleep, I podiumed 1st 2nd and 3rd.
I have a feeling that Graham Jarvis is gonna win this one.
Now that's real racing
Cool and extra ordinary
input cheat code "soylent green" then every human casualty boosts your speed so you can run the course how it's supposed to be run
Une évolution de l'enduro qui est devenue grotesque.
That’s awesome!!!
tangkas dan elok,asyiiik
Enduro go go
I got an old 83' YZ250, I could totally do this stuff XD ...I bet the suspension would blow out in the first three minutes
How come they are all on 2-stroke? Are they all 250?
No they most are 300 ccm
was this a race ?
david osborne time trial kind of. Endurance race.
hard enduro. most of the hardest one is this one. it's in Turkey. At Antalya.

Great test of man and machine.
What I can never understand is,why does nobody ever just use a trials bike for these kinds nd of tracks? Are they just too slow or something?
super
This looks entertaining but good lord I'd need a solid pair of earplugs, I love my two stroke and everything but this would drive me nuts

Come on Husqvarna come on !
the main problem is..how to get down after they climbed that tricky mountain 🤔🤔🤔🤔

I want to know how many spark plugs were fouled out for this event. All these 2 stroke guys just bogging the engine like the whole time!
Just give it a rev now and then to clean it off. Don't think I've ever fouled a plug after getting the jetting right.
