They absolutely are. I know we need to support the innovators and small companies in this hobby, but it’s also great when there are good mass market options as well 🤙
Good evening Phil that looks so dam good mate god injora are on fire lately it'd be real nice if they do it 1/10th at some point . Happy New year Phil.
Hi Geoff, you never know! But yes, they are smashing it at the minute. There is a similar 1/10th body out there by MST but I'm not sure if they still make it tbh. Seem to remember it being quite pricey too.
Just ordered some of their new green silicone tyre inserts they should be here any day cant wait hope you have a great new year. Think your camera was have a mare 😂
There are 2 black brackets left over that were in the small bag with the headlight stuff in it. Did you ever figure out what the 2 black brackets went to? I didn't see you use them anywhere. They did fit over the 2 screw holes that attached the body to the rear cage.
It is designed for the stock chassis, and that's what I install it on in this video. I have since fitted the LCG chassis and I honestly think that the body looks better on the stock chassis.
@@PhilBrindley is it easy to switch bodies? If you were to buy the silver and blue would it be easy to swap them? I haven’t put my rig together yet so I don’t know?
It is great. I think it could be "made to fit" but think the reality is that it would be too big. You'd need custom mounts for it and the bumper and it would look long unless you have a Gladiator/Power Wagon sized wheelbase. SO not saying it wouldn't fit, but I certainly wouldn't bother trying. If you want an FJ SCX24 then check out WTMicro on Etsy. Awesome 3d printed bodies on there. 🤙
Tyres are 58mm Injora Crawler Master on stock width axles. Some slight rub at the very extremes of lock and flex, but me not running springs doesn’t really help there 🤣
Thanks, I think I have mine in correctly in this video as when I was going through the install I was worried it looked too high, so I spent far too long messing about and trying to figure out what the instructions were actually saying, LOL. I think the instructions are correct also, but they are not clear and very easy to get it mixed up and then install upside down. Great shout though as I am sure there are people out there wondering why theirs looks odd.
Shell looks fab , however Phil it did take you a ridiculously long time to get the packaging off . Especially after chrsitmas , it should have been off in seconds. I'm concerned now you didn't get enough pressies to practice on first. However the mew shell looks fab and as always glad to see you using wera screwdrivers 😂 hope you had a fab chrsitmas and have a wonderful new year
Thanks for sharing this. I ordered this body, the same chassis and the mb100 esc when It came up on injora website. Nice to get a sneak peek at it. It definitely looks good! Take care and hope your cold bug is over soon.
OOOO, now that is going to be a nice haul! Keep an eye on the channel as there will be more to come on this one. Also, if you're a 3D printing type I'll probably be designing some parts for it (already working on sliders!). Thanks for the kind wishes. 🤙
@@BONEZ-8 you're most welcome, they came out pretty good. They don't work with the LCG chassis though as the body sits much higher on the rails. There will be an update in the near future to accomodate that though.
The high trail chassis rails are longer, so this won’t fit. You would need to get the carbon LCG chassis kit or hack the existing rails. I don’t think there is any other reason why it wouldn’t fit though, but I don’t have a high trail so can’t be sure.
That stock esc is shit, swap it for the injora one or maybe the brushed furitek iguana esc. Youll have to use an independent reciever/transmitter but its worth it
You are not wrong there, thanks. I am about to start playing with AM32 on a little drone esc, if that works it will be going in to this rig for sure! 🤙
@@octane2099 I would go with a FlySky 5gt and the little fs2a receiver. I’ve got the MB100 esc on the way at the minute so should be a video on it very soon. 🤙
I was having problems with the screw sizes as well so figured I’d check RUclips. Found your video and one other. Very helpful. Appreciate the tips.
Nice one. Thanks for watching 🤙
Injora is really killing it lately! Glad it’s getting out of the aliexpress chains 🤟🏻

I love the Bronco body. I have the orange Bronco rig. Awesome crawler. I will be purchasing the Blue FJ in 2 days...I just 'subbed'.
Thanks for the sub. The FJ looks super nice in Blue as well.
Would this fit the hight trail edition
According to Injora website “Not compatible with TRX4M High Trail K10/F150 unless you shorten the rails!” 😢
Alright thanks 👍I’ve been trying to find a new body shell for mine

I've been wanting one of those for ages...
Me too, came very close to ordering a 3d printed one for my scx24 then this was announced. So happy with it!
Great vid, that body looks SO good! 🍻
Thanks, I’m super happy with this body. It’s transformed my trx4m from just being “good to look” at into “great to look at and to drive”. 🤙

Yeah, think I need to go back to using a phone for the overhead shots, that web cam just ain’t cutting it! 🤪
@@PhilBrindley i was thinking that as your filming is normally excellent
can't wait to get mine!!
I’m genuinely tempted to order another one! 🤙

That’s exactly what they are. They go inside the body to help brace the screws that hold the cab to the bed. Also secure the windows at the back. 🤙
Damn, I’m waiting on mine still! I got the green one!
Hope it arrives soon. Super nice body!
Do you need the injora chassis to put the body on or will it go straight on the 4m once assembled? Newbie here thanks!

@@PhilBrindley cool thank you so much! Keep up the awesome videos!
I was so stuck between ordering the silver body or ordering the blue body. Silver is my favorite color for vehicles but I ended up getting blue!
The silver is quite dark, almost a gunmetal grey really. I very nearly went for blue, looks so nice. 👌
@@PhilBrindley is it easy to switch bodies? If you were to buy the silver and blue would it be easy to swap them? I haven’t put my rig together yet so I don’t know?

What do you do with the stock lights that are on the bumper of the bronco body?
Are they just dangling down?
I guess you would just disconnect them altogether
I removed them with the bumper. Did think about trying to reuse them somehow but it seemed like more effort than it was worth.
@@PhilBrindleythank you so much that is super helpful
Something I just heard. If you turn the rear bumper/cage bracket over it will lower the body...

I didn’t have any issues with screws stripping, but agree that the instructions are pretty sucky.
